Common use of Dismissal Grievance Clause in Contracts

Dismissal Grievance. A claim by an employee who has been discharged or suspended from employ, that the discharge or suspension was without just cause, shall be treated as a grievance if the written statement is lodged with the Employer within ten (10) days of the discharge or suspension. Such grievance shall commence at Stage 2 of the grievance procedure.
