PAYMENT FOR TIME IN LIEU OF BREAKS. Employees who cannot get rest periods or meal breaks shall be paid five and one-half (5 1/2) hours worked - six (6) hours pay; six (6) hours worked - six and one-half (6 1/2) hours pay; seven and one-half (7 1/2) hours worked - eight (8) hours pay; eight (8) hours worked - eight and one-half (8 1/2) hours pay. There shall be no deliberate bankrolling of purported violations of this clause by any employee.
PAYMENT FOR TIME IN LIEU OF BREAKS.
(a) Employees who are not provided with a rest period shall be compensated at 15 minutes extra straight-time pay for the loss of their rest period.
(b) Employees who are not provided with a meal break shall be compensated at 30 minutes extra pay for the loss of their meal break.
PAYMENT FOR TIME IN LIEU OF BREAKS. Employees who are directed by the Employer to forego rest periods or meal breaks shall, in additional to being compensated for time worked in lieu of a break or breaks, receive an additional sum equal to the amount of the lost break or breaks to a maximum of thirty (30) minutes per shift.
PAYMENT FOR TIME IN LIEU OF BREAKS. (a) Those employees who are assigned shifts which are unbroken by rest periods and/or meal breaks, shall be paid according to the following schedule: 5 unbroken hours of work for 5 1/2 hours pay; 6 unbroken hours of work for 6 1/2 hours pay; 7 unbroken hours of work for 8 hours pay; 8 unbroken hours of work for 9 hours pay.
(b) No employee shall be entitled to grieve purported violations of this clause, except for the most recent period up to maximum of one (1) month.
(c) No shift other than identified in this clause can be worked unbroken.

(a) In addition to being compensated at the prevailing contractual wage rate for the time worked in lieu of a break or rest periods, the employee shall receive an additional sum equal to the amount of lost break or rest periods to a maximum of thirty (30) minutes per shift.
(b) There shall be no deliberate bankrolling of purported violations of this clause by any employee. Examples of missing all breaks: Shift Length Entitlement 4 hours 1-10 minute 5 hours 1-10 1-30 5.5 hours pay plus 30 minute penalty 6 hours 1-10 1-30 6.5 hours pay plus 30 minute penalty 7 hours 2-10 1-30 7.5 hours pay plus 30 minute penalty 8 hours 2-10 1-30
PAYMENT FOR TIME IN LIEU OF BREAKS. Employees who are directed by the Employer to forgo meal breaks shall receive an additional sum equal to the amount of the lost meal period to a maximum of thirty (30) minutes per shift. Management must give prior approval and sign off for employees to forgo meal breaks.
PAYMENT FOR TIME IN LIEU OF BREAKS. Should an employee, as a result of working through their breaks or meal period, that day, shall have those hours paid at the applicable overtime rate. Note: Total break time is one (1) hr twenty (20) minutes. Operator has a choice of either two (2) x thirty (30) minute and one (1) x twenty (20) minute break or four (4) x twenty (20) minute breaks.
