DISPLACEMENT OF A JUNIOR EMPLOYEE. It is understood that for the purposes of exercising seniority, an employee may only displace a junior employee in an equal/lower rated position, except in the case where the employee has previously held said position. In the application of the rules governing displacement the classification of Junior Server will be equal to the classification of Server and in the Department - Porters Group II the classification of Xxxxxx shall be equal to the classification of Doorperson.

DISPLACEMENT OF A JUNIOR EMPLOYEE. When mutually agreed, employees may be placed in positions covered by this Agreement which they are qualified to fill, notwithstanding that it may be necessary to displace junior able-bodied employees to provide suitable employment for them. Furthermore, positions may be specifically created for such purpose and it is agreed that the positions will be abolished once the incumbents are no longer on the program.
