Distance Education Related Working Conditions. Teaching of Distance Education courses shall be on a voluntary basis. Unit members who originate a new Distance Education presentation shall be guaranteed to teach that course for at least three consecutive semesters in which that course is offered by the District. In the event that another instructor is already assigned an online section of the course and it is within the guaranteed three consecutive semesters for that initial instructor and there are not enough sections to provide a secondary originator of a ―new Distance Education presentation‖ of the course an assignment, then the secondary originator will receive an assignment only as it is available or after the guaranteed three semesters are given to the initial instructor.

Distance Education Related Working Conditions. ‌ Teaching of Distance Education courses shall be on a voluntary basis. Full-time and Part-time unit members who originate a the first version of a new fully online Distance Education course presentation shall be guaranteed to teach that course for at least three (3) two (2) consecutive semesters in which that course is offered by the District. In the event that another Instructional Faculty member is already assigned an online section of the course, and it is within the guaranteed three (3) consecutive semesters for that initial Instructional Faculty unit member, and there are not enough sections to provide a secondary originator of a “new Distance Education presentation” of the course an assignment, then the secondary originator will receive an assignment only as it is available or after the guaranteed three (3) semesters are given to the initial Instructional Faculty member. Faculty who have created a fully aligned OEI course are guaranteed the right to teach a section of this course for the two (2) terms when it is next offered on the course schedule, and when it is available based on the provisions of this Agreement. In the event that another instructor is already assigned a section of this course to be taught on the OEI exchange, and it is within the guaranteed two (2) assignments described above, then the instructor who has subsequently approved will receive an assignment only as it is available or after the guaranteed two (2) assignments are given to the initial instructor.

Related to Distance Education Related Working Conditions

  • Distance Education Distance education means instruction in which the instructor and student are separated by distance and interact through the assistance of communication technologies. All distance education courses and sections will be designated as such in the District schedule of classes. Distance education courses include hybrid (see glossary) instruction and fully online instruction.

  • Using Student feedback in Educator Evaluation ESE will provide model contract language, direction and guidance on using student feedback in Educator Evaluation by June 30, 2013. Upon receiving this model contract language, direction and guidance, the parties agree to bargain with respect to this matter.

  • Rating of Overall Educator Performance The Educator’s overall performance rating is based on the Evaluator’s professional judgment and examination of evidence of the Educator’s performance against the four Performance Standards and the Educator’s attainment of goals set forth in the Educator Plan, as follows:

  • Training Program It is agreed that there shall be an Apprenticeship Training Program, the provisions of which are set forth in Exhibit "D", which is attached hereto and forms part of this Agreement.

  • Supervisor's Post-Probation Report Unless the probationary employee has previously been removed from probation, the principal or other supervisor shall submit a written report to the Superintendent at the end of the probationary period, which report shall identify whether the performance of the probationary employee has improved and which shall set forth one of the following recommendations for further action:

  • SPECIALIZED SERVICE REQUIREMENTS In the event that the Participating Entity requires service or specialized performance requirements not addressed in this Contract (such as e- commerce specifications, specialized delivery requirements, or other specifications and requirements), the Participating Entity and the Supplier may enter into a separate, standalone agreement, apart from this Contract. Sourcewell, including its agents and employees, will not be made a party to a claim for breach of such agreement.

  • Service Level Expectations Without limiting any other requirements of the Agreement, the Service Provider shall meet or exceed the following standards, policies, and guidelines:
