Common use of Doctor's Certificate Clause in Contracts

Doctor's Certificate. An employee returning to work following absence for more than five (5) consecutive working days will, if requested by the District, be required to furnish a doctor’s certificate as to the employee’s ability to perform his normal duties.

Doctor's Certificate. An employee returning to work following absence for more than five (5) consecutive working or intermittent repetitive work days will, if requested by the DistrictEmployer, be required to furnish a doctor’s certificate as to the employee’s ability to perform his his/her normal duties. The cost of such certificate, if requested by the Employer, will be paid by the Employer.
