Domestic Waste. This lot covers the management, minimisation and disposal of general non-confidential office waste, offensive healthcare waste, hazardous non-healthcare waste, ferrous and non-ferrous metals, WEEE waste, mattresses and miscellaneous waste.

Domestic Waste. This lot covers domestic, general, offensive, non-confidential office, and hazardous non- healthcare waste streams, ferrous and non-ferrous metals, WEEE waste, mattresses and miscellaneous waste. This incorporates the minimisation, collection, transportation and appropriate disposal methods at agreed locations for Landfill, Dry Mixed Recycling (DMR) and the usage of Materials Recovery Facilities (MRF). Suppliers appointed to Lot 4 of the Framework Agreement will meet the following requirements.
Domestic Waste. ▪ Implement a waste recycling and reduction program on the Project to reduce the amount of waste that is generated; ▪ Paper, plastics, glass, tins, scrap metal, food and other recyclable materials will be collected in labelled, wildlife proof receptacles and recycled and/or disposed of at a registered facility; ▪ Appropriately sized and labelled recycling containers will be made available in site offices and on-site in order to promote landfill avoidance strategies; ▪ Procedures for waste minimization, reuse, recycling, storage, and disposal, will be developed and shared with all staff; and ▪ Waste will be collected at regular intervals to avoid the overflow of waste and attraction of wildlife.
Domestic Waste. Waste, garbage, rubbish, and trash as are ordinarily generated at a residence or light commercial establishment. By way of example, such waste includes, but is not limited to, waste accumulated from the preparation, processing, consumption, handling, packing, canning, storage and decay of food products, food containers and other consumer goods containers, waste wood, paper, plant, crockery, cloth, glass, small appliances, such as, fans, toasters, lamps, small chairs, packing materials, floor sweepings, and deceased animal matter of less than 10 pounds.
Domestic Waste. Metal refuse bins to BS 792 or equivalent plastic refuse bins, all with lids, shall be provided by the Contractor for all construction sites. Refuse shall be collected and removed from all facilities on the Site at least twice per week. Domestic Waste shall be transported to the accepted refuse disposal site off site in covered containers or covered trucks.
Domestic Waste. Where appropriate, waste will be segregated from other waste streams. Specific categories of Domestic and General Waste included within this contract include but are not limited to: Aerosols Aluminium Products Cardboard Flowers Food Furniture Garden Waste General Non Confidential Office Waste Glass Newspapers Packaging Paper Towels Pallets Textiles Tissues Offensive Waste Plastic Bottles Subject to revised legislation and regulations, these categories are subject to alteration during the course of the contract.
Domestic Waste. The European Waste codes that relate to Offensive Waste streams can be identified in chapter 18 as 18 01 04 (Wastes whose collection and disposal is not subject to special requirements in order to prevent infection (for example dressings, plaster casts, linen, disposable clothing, nappies). Hazardous Health Care waste included within this Framework Agreement is that defined by current and any future legislation . Specific categories of Hazardous Health Care Waste included within the Framework Agreement include but are not limited to: Healthcare waste contaminated with radioactive material Infectious waste contaminated with cytotoxic and/or cytostatic medicinal products Sharps contaminated with cytotoxic and cytostatic medicinal products Infectious and other waste requiring incineration including anatomical waste, diagnostic specimens, reagent of test vials and kits containing chemicals Amalgam waste from dental care Subject to revised legislation and regulations, these categories are subject to alteration during the course of the Framework Agreement. Contractors are required to provide pricing for each of the separate groups of waste, which are included within the contract specification.   • Dangerous Goods, Special Wastes, Pesticides and Harmful Substances Where employees are required to work with or are exposed to any dangerous good, special waste, pesticide or harmful substance, the Employer shall ensure that the employees are adequately trained in the identification, safe handling, use, storage, and/or disposal of same.

  • Hazardous Waste Throughout the term of this Lease, Tenant shall not undertake or permit any Environmental Activity (as such term is hereinafter defined) other than (i) in compliance with all applicable laws and ordinances and all rules, orders and regulations, present or future, ordinary or extraordinary, foreseen or unforeseen) of any federal, state or local governmental authority (hereinafter collectively referred to as "Legal Requirements"), and (ii) in such a manner as shall keep the premises, the Building and the Land free from any lien imposed pursuant to any Legal Requirement in respect of such Environmental Activity. Tenant shall take all necessary steps to ensure that any Environmental Activity undertaken or permitted at the premises is undertaken in a manner as to provide prudent safeguards against potential risks to human health or the environment. Tenant shall notify Landlord within 24 hours of the release of any Hazardous Materials (as such term is hereinafter defined) from or at the premises which could form the basis of any claim, demand or action by any party. Landlord shall have the right, from time to time, at Tenant's expense, to conduct an environmental audit or such other examinations, tests, inspections and reviews of the premises as Landlord, in its sole discretion, shall deem necessary, appropriate or desirable and Tenant shall cooperate in the conduct of any such environmental audit, examination, test, inspection or review. If Tenant shall breach the covenants provided in this Article, then, in addition to any other rights and remedies which may be available to landlord pursuant to this Lease or otherwise at law, Landlord may require Tenant to take all actions, or to reimburse Landlord for the costs of any and all actions taken by Landlord, as are necessary, appropriate or desirable to cure such breach. for purposes of this Article, the term "Environmental Activity" means any use, storage, installation, existence, release, threatened release, discharge, generation, abatement, removal, disposal, handling or transportation from, under, into or on the leased premises of (a) any "hazardous substance" as defined in any federal statute, (b) petroleum, crude oil or any fraction thereof, natural gas or synthetic gas used for fuel, and (c) any additional substances or materials which at such time are classified or considered to be hazardous or toxic under the laws of the State of New York or any other Legal Requirements the materials described in clauses (a) through (c) being collectively referred to as "Hazardous Materials". The provisions of subparagraph (j) of Article 6 of this Lease shall be applicable to any failure by Tenant to comply with or keep or perform the provisions of this Article. The obligations of Tenant under this Article shall survive the expiration or sooner termination of the term of this Lease.

  • Cosmetic Surgery Any non-medically necessary surgery or procedure whose primary purpose is to improve or change the appearance of any portion of the body to improve self-esteem, but which does not restore bodily function, correct a diseased state, physical appearance, or disfigurement caused by an accident, birth defect, or correct or naturally improve a physiological function. Cosmetic Surgery includes, but is not limited to, ear piercing, rhinoplasty, lipectomy, surgery for sagging or extra skin, any augmentation or reduction procedures (e.g., mammoplasty, liposuction, keloids, rhinoplasty and associated surgery) or treatment relating to the consequences or as a result of Cosmetic Surgery.

  • Waste Borrower shall not commit or suffer any waste of the Property or make any change in the use of the Property which will in any way materially increase the risk of fire or other hazard arising out of the operation of the Property, or take any action that might invalidate or give cause for cancellation of any Policy, or do or permit to be done thereon anything that may in any way impair the value of the Property or the security of this Security Instrument. Borrower will not, without the prior written consent of Lender, permit any drilling or exploration for or extraction, removal, or production of any minerals from the surface or the subsurface of the Land, regardless of the depth thereof or the method of mining or extraction thereof.

  • Chemical Substances Supplier warrants that: (i) each chemical substance contained in Products is on the inventory of chemical substances compiled and published by the Environmental Protection Agency pursuant to the Toxic Substances Control Act and (ii) all Material Safety Data Sheets required to be provided by Supplier for Products shall be provided to DXC prior to shipment of the Products and shall be complete and accurate.

  • NOISE/WASTE The Tenant agrees not to commit waste on the premises, maintain, or permit to be maintained, a nuisance thereon, or use, or permit the premises to be used, in an unlawful manner. The Tenant further agrees to abide by any and all local, county, and State noise ordinances.

  • TOXIC SUBSTANCES Each Contractor furnishing a toxic substance as defined by Section 875 of the Labor Law, shall provide such Authorized User with not less than two copies of a material safety data sheet, which sheet shall include for each such substance the information outlined in Section 876 of the Labor Law. Before any chemical product is used or applied on or in any building, a copy of the product label and Material Safety Data Sheet must be provided to and approved by the Authorized User agency representative.

  • Domestic Regulation 1. In sectors where specific commitments are undertaken, each Party shall ensure that all measures of general application affecting trade in services are administered in a reasonable, objective and impartial manner.
