DUAL POSITIONS. ‌ Dual contract employees must notify the supervisor of each classification in which the employee holds a position of any absences, tardiness, vacation or other reason for non-attendance. Failure to do so will result in discipline.
DUAL POSITIONS. In the event that a supervisory detention officer is not available for duty the Service Provider should provide a full-time supervisor as a replacement. A contract employee shall not hold the position of Detention Officer and Supervisory Detention Officer simultaneously. The COTR will document and refer to the Contracting Officer the failure of the Service Provider to provide necessary personnel to cover positions.
DUAL POSITIONS. For dual positions, paid vacation time is earned, allocated, and used in each separate position. A dual position employee may use vacation time earned in one position, on their other position, with the permission of both supervisors.

  • New Positions A. Each newly created position shall be assigned by the Employer to the national craft unit most appropriate for such position within thirty (30) days after its creation. Before such assignment of each new position the Employer shall consult with the Union for the purpose of assigning the new position to the national craft unit most appropriate for such position. The following criteria shall be used in making this determination:

  • Job Postings The employee may apply for a job posting at either home based on their seniority at the designated employer. The vacancy will be filled in accordance with Article 9 of the collective agreement. Where seniority is the deciding factor the most senior candidate will be selected regardless of which home her/his seniority was accumulated.

  • Filling Positions ‌ The Employer will determine when a position will be filled, the type of appointment to be used when filling the position, and the skills and abilities necessary to perform the duties of the specific position within a job classification. Only those candidates who have the position-specific skills and abilities required to perform the duties of the vacant position will be referred for further consideration by the employing agency.
