Duct Banks. 000 1-1/2 inches to 2 4* Mass Concrete No. 4 *6" maximum slump will be allowed if super-plasticizers are used. Concrete strength will be determined by ASTM C39. Concrete Tests Quality control testing of concrete will be performed by an independent laboratory and will consist of the following. o Preliminary Review. Before concrete mixes are designed, the source and quality of materials will be determined and the following reports will be submitted. - The type, brand, manufacturer, composition, and method of handling (sack or bulk) of cement. - The type, source, and composition of fly ash. - The classification, brand, manufacturer, and active chemical ingredients of all admixtures. - The source of coarse aggregates and test reports required to verify compliance with ASTM C33. - The source of fine aggregates and test reports required to verify compliance with ASTM C33. - The results of tests to determine compliance of admixtures with appropriate ASTM requirements. o Concrete mix designs will be established by a qualified testing laboratory in accordance with the requirements of ACI 301.

Duct Banks. A. Duct bank accommodation requirements for Transportation Structures shall be in accordance with Section 6-1.7 [Systems Duct Bank and Associated Infrastructure] and Section 6-2.10 [Traction Power Duct Bank] of this Schedule.
Duct Banks. A. The Design-Builder must provide separate conduit and pull boxes for power and communication cables. B. The Design-Builder shall provide a duct bank for the communication cable from the Utility Complex to the MNAR in Xxxx Xxxxxxxx OMF. The communication duct bank shall be in consistent with the HFDG Section 11.11.2. C. The Design-Builder shall provide a duct bank for the emergency power cable from the generator set close to the Utility Complex to the emergency electrical room in Xxxx Xxxxxxxx OMF. The power duct bank shall be in consistent with the HFDG Section 11.11.1. D. The duct bank design and installation shall be consistent with the HFDG Section 11.11.
Duct Banks. A. The Design-Builder must Design and Construct the communications duct banks within the Xxxx Xxxxxxxx OMF following the requirements given in Section 6-1.2 [Duct Banks] of this Schedule. B. The Design-Builder must Design and Construct the duct banks for the Ultimate Buildout. No additional duct banks may be added in future expansion. The duct banks must be sized to accommodate future expansion. C. The Design-Builder must Design and Construct a duct bank from the Xxxx Xxxxxxxx OMF Utility Complex communications room to the Xxxx Xxxxxxxx OMF building to connect the ETS Network communications room and the Corporate IT MNAR. D. The Design-Builder must Design and Construct a duct bank from the Xxxx Xxxxxxxx OMF Utility Complex communications room to the future administrative building. The duct bank should be at least composed of four 103 mm ducts. E. The duct bank must be able to accommodate cabling for the following systems and facilities: 1. ETS Network: a. Digital electricity structured cables b. Single mode fibre optic data cables c. Copper cables d. Cat 6 XxX cables 2. The Corporate IT Network CTS: a. Single mode fibre optic data cables b. Copper cables
Duct Banks. 1. Contractor shall provide all duct banks where required by the Rail Infrastructure System, including connection to manholes and cable troughs, but excluding those provided by the Interfacing Parties as detailed in the Base Design. 2. Any duct banks or buried duct banks provided by Interfacing Parties shall be tied into the Contractors system by the Contractor.
