Duration of Aid and Assistance. Unless otherwise agreed, the duration of the Sheltering PHF/GACHPU’s Aid and Assistance shall be for an initial period of 24 hours, commencing upon the arrival of the Evacuating PHF/GACHPU’s patient(s) at the Sheltering PHF/GACHPU. i. Thereafter, Aid and Assistance may be extended as agreed upon by the Sheltering PHF/GACHPU Liaison and the Evacuating PHF/GACHPU Liaison. ii. The Sheltering PHF/GACHPU’s Aid and Assistance may be withdrawn by the Sheltering PHF/GACHPU’s Liaison to provide for its own patients and community if the circumstances so warrant. a. In such case, the Sheltering PHF/GACHPU Liaison will make a good faith effort to provide at least 12 hours advance notification (written notification whenever possible) to the Evacuating PHF/GACHPU Liaison, of the Sheltering PHF/GACHPU’s intent to terminate such Aid and Assistance. b. If 12-hour notice is not practicable, then the Sheltering PHF/GACHPU Liaison will provide as much notice as is reasonably possible under the circumstances.

  • EDUCATION AND ASSISTANCE FUND 18.01 The Employer shall contribute to the Union’s Education and Assistance Fund the amount identified at Schedule “A” for each hour worked by each employee covered by this Agreement, and shall remit such contributions to the Union together with union dues, and in the manner described at Article 7.04. 18.02 The Education and Assistance Fund shall be used by the Union to educate and instruct members in the competent practice of their trade, in matters relating to Health and Safety, and to instruct specific members in effective labour relations practices. 18.03 Having regard to the demands of the Employer’s work and operations, the Employer will cooperate with the Union when safety and related courses are made available to the members employed with the Employer.

  • Termination Assistance Upon nearing the end of the final term or termination of this Agreement, without respect to cause, the Party shall take all reasonable and prudent measures to facilitate any transition required by the State. All State property, tangible and intangible, shall be returned to the State upon demand at no additional cost to the State in a format acceptable to the State.

  • EMPLOYMENT ASSISTANCE I understand that the College has not made and will not make any guarantees of employment or salary upon my graduation. The College will provide me with placement assistance, which will consist of identifying employment opportunities and advising me on appropriate means of attempting to realize these opportunities. I authorize HCI College’s representatives to contact potential employers for the purpose of advocating on my behalf and release my name and job application materials, including, but not limited to, my cover letter, resume, and transcript to prospective employers. I authorize HCI College and its third-party vendors to contact my employer to verify pertinent employment information for my graduate record.

  • Plan of Assistance The Plan of Assistance is designed to be helpful. It is initiated when other means of the assistive process have not been successful and the supervisor determines that the classified employee needs additional assistance and support to maintain or achieve an acceptable level of performance.

  • Outplacement Assistance 12.1 Following a termination of employment, other than for Cause, the Executive shall be reimbursed by the Company for the costs of all outplacement services obtained by the Executive within the two (2) year period after the Effective Date of Termination; provided, however, that the total reimbursement shall be limited to an amount equal to twenty percent (20%) of the Executive’s Base Salary as of the effective date of termination.

  • Litigation Assistance Except when it would constitute a direct conflict of interest for BA, BA will make itself available to assist CE in any administrative or judicial proceeding by testifying as witness as to an alleged violation of HIPAA, the HITECH Act, the Privacy or Security Rule, or other law relating to security or privacy.

  • PROVISION OF FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE As authorized by Section II of this Agreement for the sole and express purpose of financing the Project defined and described in Appendix A of this Agreement, the estimated costs of which are set forth and described in Appendix D of this Agreement, the OPWC hereby agrees to provide financial assistance, subject to the terms and conditions contained in this Agreement, from the State Capital Improvements Fund which constitutes the proceeds of the Infrastructure Bonds, in an amount not to exceed One Hundred Ninety-Nine Thousand, One Hundred Seventy-Nine Dollars ($199,179).
