Duties of Committee. 32.2.1 The duties of the Committee shall consist of the following:
(a) Resolve communications issues regarding the Benefit Plans insofar as they affect AMAPCEO Unit employees;
(b) Review the performance of the Carrier(s) regarding claims of the Benefit Plans insofar as they affect AMAPCEO unit employees;
(c) Ensure that benefits information summarizing all employee benefits, is made available to all employees. The Employer shall cover all costs related to the provision of this information.
(d) Meet and review annually the financial experience of the Plans, including all financial reports ordinarily provided to the Employer by the Carrier(s);
(e) Meet monthly or as required to review and make decisions on complaints or differences involving the denial of benefits provided under the Benefit Plans to an individual, when such issues have not been resolved through the existing administrative procedures.
Duties of Committee. 31.3.3.1 Evaluate employee growth activities that have been submitted for credit.
31.3.3.2 The committee must approve or deny each plan submitted for professional growth.

Duties of Committee. The Plan shall be administered by the Committee in accordance with its terms and purposes. The Committee shall interpret the provisions of the Plan and determine the amount and manner of payment of the benefits due to or on behalf of each Participant from the Plan and shall cause them to be paid accordingly.
Duties of Committee. The duties of the Committee shall consist of the following:
(i) Development of the specifications for the public tendering of any negotiated benefits which may be included in the Group Insurance Plan (to cover the bargaining unit only);
(ii) Determination of the manner in which the specifications will be made available for public tendering;
(iii) Consideration and examination of all tenders submitted in response to the specifications for tender and preparation of a report thereon;
(iv) Recommendation to the Government of Ontario on the selection of the insurance carrier or carriers to underwrite the Group Insurance Plans;
(v) Review of the semi-annual financial reports on the Group Insurance Plan; and
(vi) Review of contentious claims and recommendations thereon, when such claim problem s have not been resolved through the existing administrative procedures. The specifications for tender will describe the benefits to be provided, the cost sharing arrangem ent between the Em ployer and its employees, the past financial history of the insurance plans, the employee data, the format for the retention illustration for each coverage and the financial reporting requirements. Tenders shall be entertained by the Comm ittee from any individual insurance carrier acting solely on its own behalf. This shall not preclude such carrier from arranging reinsurance as may be necessary. The basis for recommendation of an insurance carrier(s) will include the ability of the carrier(s) to underwrite the plan, compliance of the carrier’s quotation with the specifications for tender, the carrier’s service capabilities and the expected long term net cost of the benefits to be provided.
Duties of Committee. To assure the Employer and the employee that they are receiving the best training available along with the necessary experience on the job.
Duties of Committee. To the extent that, at law or in equity, a Member Designee of the Company has duties (including fiduciary duties) and liabilities relating thereto to the Company or to any Member, such individual acting in good faith pursuant to the terms of this Agreement shall not be liable to the Company or to any Member for its good faith reliance on the provisions of this Agreement and no Member Designee shall otherwise owe any duty (including any fiduciary duty) to the Company or to any Member or any of their respective Affiliates, officers, directors, members, partners, shareholders, employees or agents of any of the foregoing, or any of their respective heirs, successors or assigns (other than the duty of good faith and fair dealing). The provisions of this Agreement, to the extent that they restrict the duties and liabilities of such individual otherwise existing at law or in equity, are agreed by the parties hereto to replace such other duties and liabilities of such individual.
Duties of Committee. On an as needed basis, prepare and revise policies and procedures and lists of representative courses for recommendation to the CSEA and the District; the listings shall not be exclusive, but will serve as example and guides only.
