Educational, Promotional or Other Presentations and Appearances. In addition to the Ballet’s regular Season of performances, the Ballet may require an Artist to participate in Educational or Promotional activities as outlined below. All such activities, including preparation, travel time to and from the event, and all time spent at the event from arrival to departure, shall take place within the allowable hours, including all required breaks and rest periods. In the case where the allowable hours are exceeded, the overtime provisions of this Agreement shall apply. There shall be a representative of the Ballet present at all such activities. The Ballet will provide the Artist with the full details of the event, the duties of the Artist, and any other pertinent information no less than forty-eight (48) hours in advance.

  • PROFESSIONAL NEGOTIATIONS A. Not later than March 1 of the calendar year in which this Agreement expires, the Association and the District will begin negotiations for a successor Agreement. When a full-time or part-time faculty member’s attendance at a professional conference conflicts with his/her regular assignment, the faculty member must submit a request for attendance to the appropriate Xxxx, Director, or Supervisor. If granted, the attendance at the conference will be considered leave with pay, and a follow-up report of the conference shall be submitted to the appropriate Supervisor.

  • Sales Promotions In addition to decreasing prices for the balance of the Contract term due to a change in market conditions, the Contractor may conduct sales promotions involving price reductions for a specified lesser period. The Contractor must submit documentation identifying the proposed: (1) starting and ending dates of the promotion, (2) commodities or contractual services involved, and (3) promotional prices compared to then-authorized prices.

  • PROMOTIONS AND SENIORITY Promotion in the VFRS shall be based on eligibility and on the candidate having the ability to perform the essential duties of the rank at the time of promotion. In cases where two candidates are relatively equal in their aggregate scores, the more senior member in the division will be ranked higher for the purpose of both promotion and acting assignments.
