Effect of part. 3 The terms and conditions of employment set out in Parts 3 apply as part of this agreement, provided that where there is any inconsistency between the terms and conditions of employment set out in Part 3 and the terms and conditions of employment set out elsewhere in this agreement, the terms and conditions of employment set out elsewhere in this agreement prevail to the extent of the inconsistency.
Effect of part time employment on continuous service Commencement on part-time work under this clause, and return from part-time work to full-time work under this clause, shall not break the continuity of service or employment.

Effect of part. time employment on redundancy benefit The redundancy benefit will be calculated on a pro rata basis where an employee has worked part‐time hours during the period of service and the employee has less than 24 years fulltime service.
