Efficiency of Operations. Since achieving greater efficiency in all aspects of the employer’s work is deemed appropriate and necessary, the District Council (or Local Union) shall encourage employees to perform their duties on behalf of the employer and accomplish desired results in as efficient and productive manner as possible. There shall be no restrictions as to the amount of work an employee shall do during scheduled working hours. Nor, shall there be any restriction as to the use of labor-saving machinery or devices in any aspect of the work that may be assigned by the employer.

Efficiency of Operations. It is jointly recognized that the successful operation of the Employer’s facilities requires a coordination of work activities, active cooperation between employees and groups of employees, and does not lend itself to a rigid application of what may be traditional craft or jurisdictional lines. It is also jointly recognized that there may and will be a certain degree of overlap in work functions between employees covered by this Agreement and other groups of employees and that employees covered by this Agreement may be directed to perform work in areas other than their usual duties or be assisted by other employees or groups of employees. The overall efficiency and economy of operations of the Employer’s facilities shall be the controlling factor in all instances.
Efficiency of Operations. 6.1 Since achieving greater efficiency in all aspects of the Employers work is deemed appropriate and necessary, the Local Union shall encourage Employees to perform their duties on behalf of the Employer and accomplish desired results in as efficient and productive a manner as possible. Efficiency of Operations. Inasmuch as greater efficiency in all lines of work is necessary, LOCAL UNION shall encourage its journeymen plumbers and apprentices in every way to accomplish results. There shall be no restrictions as to the amount of work journeymen plumbers and apprentices shall do, nor shall there be any restrictions as to the use of labor saving machinery for the installation of any work; provided that the aforesaid machinery meets with the approval of the Conference Committee. It is agreed that there shall be, at no time, more than one (1) apprentice with any journeyman plumber for any work, whatsoever it may be.
Efficiency of Operations. It is critical for operations to be streamlined and be more efficient. Streamlining can be done through benchmarking with other utilities including water utilities and entities in other countries. On top of this the business model needs to be changed in order to create a surplus. Other Metros should follow the example of Centlec to support small municipalities and increase their viability and sustainability through shared knowledge and capacity. Focus should be given to asset management and ensure that existing assets’ live-span is increased to lower capital expenditure on refurbishment. In executing all the latter the principle of cost containment should at all times be on the radar screen.

At the start of a shift, all employees must be out of the trailer, ready to start work.

  • CONTINUITY OF OPERATIONS (1) Engage in any business activities substantially different than those in which Borrower is presently engaged, (2) cease operations, liquidate, merge, transfer, acquire or consolidate with any other entity, change its name, dissolve or transfer or sell Collateral out of the ordinary course of business, or (3) pay any dividends on Borrower's stock (other than dividends payable in its stock), provided, however that notwithstanding the foregoing, but only so long as no Event of Default has occurred and is continuing or would result from the payment of dividends, if Borrower is a "Subchapter S Corporation" (as defined in the Internal Revenue Code of 1986, as amended), Borrower may pay cash dividends on its stock to its shareholders from time to time in amounts necessary to enable the shareholders to pay income taxes and make estimated income tax payments to satisfy their liabilities under federal and state law which arise solely from their status as Shareholders of a Subchapter S Corporation because of their ownership of shares of Borrower's stock, or purchase or retire any of Borrower's outstanding shares or alter or amend Borrower's capital structure.

  • MAINTENANCE OF OPERATIONS The Company shall maintain operations at the Project for a minimum of ten (10) years beginning on the date the Project is Placed in Service.
