JOINT CONFERENCE COMMITTEE. 12:01 In consideration of the mutual benefits likely to be obtained by way of a more harmonious relationship between the Employer and the Union, a Joint Conference Committee shall be established.
12:02 This Committee shall consist of not more than three (3) members from each side. This Committee shall meet twice per year or at any other time deemed necessary by either party to this Agreement, and shall be authorized to investigate, assess and recommend solutions to the various problems for the betterment of the Industry.
JOINT CONFERENCE COMMITTEE. A Joint Conference Committee shall be established to attend to those matters which are of mutual interest to both parties of this Agreement and shall be authorized to investigate, assess and recommend solutions to the various problems of the Industry.
JOINT CONFERENCE COMMITTEE. If the Joint Conference Committee acted as the Appellate Review Body, it shall submit its recommendation to the Boards. The Boards shall then render a final decision.
JOINT CONFERENCE COMMITTEE. (a) In consideration of the mutual benefits likely to be obtained by way of more harmonious relationships between the Employer’s Bargaining Agency, its Members, all Employers bound by the conditions of this Agreement, and the Employee’s Bargaining Agency and its Local Unions, Regional Joint Conference Committee are established.
(b) Said Committees shall consist of six (6) members from each side. Each Committee shall meet at least one (1) time per year, or at any other time deemed necessary by either party to this Agreement, and shall be authorized to investigate, assess, and recommend solutions to the various problems for the general betterment of the Industry.
(c) Consideration of the mutual benefits likely to be obtained, a Joint Health and Safety Committee shall be established.
JOINT CONFERENCE COMMITTEE. 33.01 A Joint Conference Committee (J.C.C.) shall be established by the Parties within thirty (30) days of signing this Agreement. The J.C.C. shall have equal representation up to a maximum of six (6) from Management and Union. The mandate of the J.C.C. will be to study specific proposals regarding specific contract provisions for sheet metal shops and hiring procedures. The J.C.C. shall make recommendations to the Parties for amendment to this Collective Agreement in order to improve the competitiveness of the unionized sector of the sheet metal trade.
JOINT CONFERENCE COMMITTEE. 25:01 (A) The Joint Conference Committee shall consist of three (3) Electrical Contractors and two (2) alternates, and three (3) representatives of the Union and two (2) alternates. The Committee shall select a Chairman and a Secretary from the Committee, but not both from the same group.
JOINT CONFERENCE COMMITTEE. 36.01 A Joint Conference Committee (J.C.C.) shall be established by the Parties within thirty (30) days of signing this Agreement. The J.C.C. shall have equal representatives to a maximum of four (4) from each Party, employers and Union. For voting purposes a quorum shall consist of an equal number of representatives from each Party to the Agreement. The mandate of the J.C.C. will be to identify areas where the Mainland Carpenters Collective Agreement may be amended to improve the competitiveness of the unionized sector of the trade and to recommend appropriate amendments to the Mainland Carpenters Collective Agreement. In addition the J.C.C. shall, in particular cases, be authorized to increase the minimum amount of Benefit Bond under Article 34 of five thousand dollars ($5,000.00) to an amount not exceeding twenty thousand dollars ($20,000.00). Such recommendation shall be upon agreement of a majority of the members of the J.C.C.
36.02 The Union, through its representatives on the J.C.C. may agree to implement terms, conditions and work procedures that are a more competitive response to deal with the market conditions on either a job-by-job basis or specific type or types of construction. All competitive improvements implemented under this clause shall be governed by the Job Targeting Rules and Procedures, which shall be devised and approved by the J.C.C., the Union and the CLRA and are attached herewith as Schedule “T” of this Agreement.

a) The object of this Agreement is to establish fair working conditions and regulations for both the Employer and the Union in the construction industry, and to maintain industrial harmony. In order that these objectives may be maintained and furthered, and that any differences that may arise between the Parties to this Agreement may be settled equitably and rapidly, and also to provide the means for better understanding and cooperation between the Parties, a Joint Conference Committee shall be formed.
b) The Joint Conference Committee shall consist of three (3) representatives of the Employers and two (2) alternates, and three (3) representatives of the Union and two (2) alternates. The Committee shall select a Chairman and a Secretary from the Committee, but not both from the same group.
c) The Joint Conference Committee shall hold regular meetings at least twice per year, or within forty-eight (48) hours when notice is given by either Party. All matters coming before the Joint Conference Committee shall be decided by a majority vote. Four (4) members of the Committee, two (2) from each of the Parties hereto, shall constitute a quorum for the transaction of business. At all meetings of the Committee, Employer Trustees and Union Trustees shall each have one vote, but each Party shall have the right to cast the full vote of its membership and it shall be counted as though all were present and voting.
d) The Joint Conference Committee's duties shall be, but not limited to, attempting to settle trade disputes or grievances prior to arbitration procedures, to investigate and recommend methods to improve trade practices, efficiency and productivity and work for improvement of labour relations and the general betterment of the Industry.
JOINT CONFERENCE COMMITTEE. 17:01 The signatories of this Agreement shall form a Joint Conference Committee to meet periodically for the purpose of discussing mutual problems, matters of interest and to maintain industrial harmony.
