Elected Full-Time Union Position. L24.08 (a) An employee who is elected or selected for a full-time position with the Union or any organization with which the Union is affiliated or is elected to public office will be granted leave of absence without pay and without the other benefits provided by this Agreement for a period of one twenty-four (24) month term but without loss of seniority. Such leaves may be renewed for twenty-four (24) additional months provided a written request is made to the senior administrator in human resource services.

  • Full-Time Employee A full-time employee shall be an employee who is normally scheduled to work not less than forty (40) hours per week, consisting of five (5) eight (8) hour working days.

  • Regular Full-Time Employees A regular full-time employee is one who works full-time on a regularly scheduled basis. Regular full-time employees accumulate seniority and are entitled to all benefits outlined in this Collective Agreement.

  • Leave of Absence for Full-Time Union or Public Duties An employee who is elected or selected for a full-time position with the Union or anybody with which the Union is affiliated, or who is elected to public office, shall be granted leave of absence without pay and without loss of seniority.
