Elected to Public Office. The Employer will grant leave of absence to the employees who are candidates in a Federal, Provincial or Municipal Election. Any employee who is elected to public office shall be granted by the Employer leave of absence without any pay and without loss of seniority for their term of office.

Elected to Public Office. An employee with one or more years’ seniority who is elected to public office will be granted Leave of Absence upon written request to the Company. Such leave shall be with accrual of seniority for one (1) term of public office and may be extended upon written application to the Company. If an employee returns to the Bargaining Unit from a full-time office with the National Union, Local 673 or Public Office, the return shall be to his/her former Department in the former Job Classification or a Job Classification embracing comparable job duties to that which he/she held prior to leave of absence, providing such return does not result in the lay-off or bumping of an employee holding greater seniority.
Elected to Public Office. Bargaining unit members holding a continuing contract who are elected to a public office in the State of Florida may be granted a non-paid leave of absence for the length of the term of office. If the affected employee notifies the Superintendent of a desire to return to employment before the expiration of such leave, said employee may be returned to duty to a position for which he/she qualifies. The employee shall be returned to duty at the beginning of the school year following the leave to a position for which he/she qualified.

  • Public Office Leave (a) An Employer shall grant a leave of absence without pay upon the request of any Nurse to run as a candidate in a Federal, Provincial, or Municipal election. If the Nurse withdraws as a candidate or is an unsuccessful candidate, she/he is entitled to return to her or his former position without loss of benefits provided that the Nurse gives two (2) weeks notice to the Employer of her/his intent to return unless mutually agreed to a shorter notice period. (b) Any Nurse in the Bargaining Unit who is elected to full-time office in the Federal, Provincial, or Municipal level of Government shall be granted a leave of absence without pay, for a term not exceeding five (5) years. (c) Upon return, the Nurse will be placed in a position determined in accordance with the needs of the Employer at that time. The Nurse shall be placed on the same level of the increment scale the Nurse formerly occupied prior to commencing the leave of absence. The Nurse shall retain all benefits which accrued up to the time the Nurse commenced the leave of absence, including Service. The Nurse shall continue to accrue Seniority during the leave of absence.

  • Subpoenas Directed to BellSouth Where BellSouth provides resold services or local switching for <<customer_name>>, BellSouth shall respond to subpoenas and court ordered requests delivered directly to BellSouth for the purpose of providing call detail records when the targeted telephone numbers belong to <<customer_name>> end users. Billing for such requests will be generated by BellSouth and directed to the law enforcement agency initiating the request. BellSouth shall maintain such information for <<customer_name>> end users for the same length of time it maintains such information for its own end users.

  • LOCATION WITHIN ENTERPRISE OR REINVESTMENT ZONE At the time of the Application Approval Date, the Land is within an area designated either as an enterprise zone, pursuant to Chapter 2303 of the TEXAS GOVERNMENT CODE, or a reinvestment zone, pursuant to Chapter 311 or 312 of the TEXAS TAX CODE. The legal description, and information concerning the designation, of such zone is attached to this Agreement as EXHIBIT 1 and is incorporated herein by reference for all purposes.
