ELECTION COSTS Sample Clauses

ELECTION COSTS. 1. Keep an accurate account of all Election costs including, but not limited to, supplies, printing costs, legal notices, judges labor and other expenses attributable to the Clerk’s administration of the Election for the Public Entity. 2. Charge the Public Entity for its portion of the costs of the Election incurred by the Clerk for that Public Entity up to and including the date of cancellation of the Election, if applicable. 3. Submit to the Public Entity an invoice for all expenses incurred under this Agreement. 4. Recount(s) costs will be charged to the Public Entity, or if more than one Pubic Entity is involved in the recount, the cost will be prorated among the participating Public Entities.
ELECTION COSTS. There is no minimum fee for Election services. 1. The Public Entity’s proportional share of costs must be based on County expenditures relative to the Election and the number of electors per entity. 2. The Public Entity avers that it has sufficient funds available in its approved budget to pay its prorated Election expenses. 3. If it is determined that counting must be moved to an established backup site, all related costs must be paid by the Public Entity (shared with any other Public Entity whose ballots are being counted during the Election in the timeframe using the backup procedures and site). 4. Promptly pay the invoice submitted to the Public Entity by the Clerk. 5. Pay any additional or unique Election costs resulting from Public Entity delays and/or special preparations or cancellations relating to the Public Entity’s participation in the Election.
ELECTION COSTS. Any costs resulting from a rescission election shall be borne by SEIU in accordance with the hold harmless clause of the fair share fee agreement.

FINANCIAL REPORT Annually, UAPD shall provide the County with copies of the financial report required pursuant to the Labor Management Disclosure Act of 1959. Such report shall be available to covered employees. Failure to provide such a report within sixty (60) days after December 31 of each calendar year, shall result in the termination of all fair share fee deductions without jeopardy to any employee, until said report is filed.

Charging the District for that portion of staff time, including salary and benefits, directly attributable to conducting the coordinated election on behalf of the District and that portion of building rental, both for set-up and VSPC’s and Drop-Off Locations, and materials directly attributable to the District for the preparation and conduct of the coordinated election. 2. Charging the District for the cost of election and mail ballot judges, provided, however, that such cost shall be prorated by multiplying the number of judges and dividing the result by the number of jurisdictions utilizing each VSPC. 3. The cost of any recount(s) will be charged and prorated among each of the participating Public Entities involved in the coordinated election. B. Adhere to all applicable provisions of the Code which are necessary or appropriate to the performance of the above duties.

Charging the City for staff time, including salary and benefits, directly attributable to reviewing petition sections and verifying signatures contained in citizen initiative petitions and preparing and issuing certificates of sufficiency or insufficiency. 2. Charging the City for that portion of staff time, including salary and benefits, directly attributable to conducting the coordinated election on behalf of the City and that portion of building rental, both for set-up and service center polling place(s), and materials directly attributable to the City for the preparation and conduct of the coordinated election. 3. Charging the City for the cost of election and mail ballot judges, provided, however, that such cost shall be prorated by multiplying the number of judges and dividing the result by the number of jurisdictions utilizing each service center polling place(s). 4. The cost of any recount(s) will be charged and prorated among each of the participating Public Entities involved in the coordinated election. B. Adhere to all applicable provisions of the Code which are necessary or appropriate to the performance of the above duties.
ELECTION COSTS. The minimum fee for election services is $500.00. 1. Political Subdivision’s proportional share of costs shall be based on County expenditures relative to Election and the number of eligible electors per Entity. Costs include, but are not limited to, supplies, printing, postage, legal notices, temporary labor, rentals, and other expenses attributable to County Clerk’s administration of Election for Political Subdivision. Political Subdivision shall be charged its prorated share of Election costs for any software programs used to count voted ballots as well as pre- election and post-election maintenance and on-site technical support. 2. Political Subdivision affirms that it has sufficient funds available in its approved budget to pay its prorated Election expenses. 3. If it is determined that counting must be moved to an established backup site, Political Subdivision shall be charged its prorated share. 4. The cost of any recount(s) will be charged to Political Subdivision, or if more than one Entity is involved in the recount, the cost will be prorated among the Entities participating in the recount. 5. Upon receipt of the invoice, pay to County Clerk within thirty (30) days costs in an amount determined in accordance with the invoice. 6. Political Subdivision shall pay any additional or unique election costs resulting from Political Subdivision delays and/or special preparations or cancellations relating to Political Subdivision’s participation in Election. Special preparations can include, but are not limited to: ballot addendums, affidavits, ballot language length exceeding two hundred fifty (250) words, or multiple page ballot.
