Electrical, Instrumentation and ControlThe Contractor shall supply and install all electrical equipment such as HV and LV transformers, switchgear, control panels, breakers, and all auxiliary equipment. - The Contractor shall supply and install all PCS equipment such as computers, CRT terminals, printers, data highway, local PCS drops (remote I/O cabinets) and all auxiliary equipment. - The Contractor shall supply and install all conduit, cable trays, wiring and cables. - The Contractor shall supply and install all lighting switches, controls, and lighting fixtures and supports. - The Contractor shall supply and install all electrical grounding within the plant. Grounding in the switchyard will be by others. - The Contractor shall supply and install all electrical measuring, metering, controlling interlock and warning system within the plant. - The Contractor shall supply and install all auxiliary equipment or accessories incidental to the safe and efficient operation of all major equipment supplied under the EPC Agreement.
Electrical, Instrumentation and Control. URS will perform the following tasks: • Determine electrical and instrumentation equipment needs for electrical services to the site. • Prior to beginning the design, submit a preliminary equipment design, equipment design and electrical operation report including ladder logic sketches or similar diagrams, • Service changes and phasing will be coordinated with City. New electrical equipment will meet the design standards of the City and agencies that have jurisdiction and would be utilized and supplemented as required for this project. • The SCADA RTU will be designed with a new PLC based on RTU meeting the current City’s standards. • Telemetry will be established at the site. • RTU drawings and Bill of Material would be prepared for City staff review. Performance P&IDs will be prepared for the project. • The P&IDs will reflect well pumps, treatment systems, piping, valves, etc. • System descriptions will be prepared for PLC programming. • A schedule and control strategy specification will be prepared indicating PLC I/O and control alarm functions and trigger points. URS would obtain field and laboratory data and perform geotechnical evaluations necessary to provide conclusions and recommendations for design of the facilities included in the scope of services. Task 2.7.1 ─Subsurface Exploration Task 2.7.2 ─Soil Testing
Electrical, Instrumentation and Control. URS shall perform the following tasks: • Determine electrical and instrumentation equipment needs for electrical services to the site. • Prior to beginning the design, submit a preliminary equipment design, equipment design and electrical operations report including ladder logic sketches or similar diagrams. • The P&IDs shall reflect the well pumps treatment system, piping, valves etc. • System descriptions shall be prepared for PLC programming. • A schedule and control strategy specification shall be prepared indicating additional PLC I/O, and control alarm functions and trigger points shall be added to the Agate site PLC.
Electrical, Instrumentation and Control. Design of all instrumentation and control equipment, electrical connections, status and alarms for monitoring and transmitting data, panels, and necessary appurtenances for an integrated control system. The designs shall include: • I/O lists • Control and process narrative descriptions • Wiring and control diagrams • P&ID drawings • Instrumentation and controls specifications • Electrical and control panel elevations • Lighting and intrusion detection • Meter panel • Yagi antenna for telemetry.   • Instrumentation The acceleration shall be recorded during the test, using equipment in accordance with channel frequency class 1000 as specified in the latest version of ISO 6487.

  • Electrical Equipment Residents must use only CSA, UL-approved or Canadian-certified electrical equipment; the rated wattage of light fixtures must never be exceeded; and only replacement bulbs supplied by Waterloo maintenance staff may be used. Do not leave any unattended electrical equipment turned on (i.e. hair straighteners, lights etc.)

  • Musculoskeletal Injury Prevention and Control The hospital in consultation with the Joint Health and Safety Committee (JHSC) shall develop, establish and put into effect, musculoskeletal prevention and control measures, procedures, practices and training for the health and safety of employees.

  • Erosion Prevention and Control Purchaser’s Operations shall be conducted reasonably to minimize soil erosion. Equipment shall not be operated when ground conditions are such that excessive damage will result. Purchaser shall adjust the kinds and intensity of erosion control work done to ground and weather condi- tions and the need for controlling runoff. Erosion control work shall be kept current immediately preceding ex- pected seasonal periods of precipitation or runoff.

  • Interconnection Facilities Engineering Procurement and Construction Interconnection Facilities, Network Upgrades, and Distribution Upgrades shall be studied, designed, and constructed pursuant to Good Utility Practice. Such studies, design and construction shall be based on the assumed accuracy and completeness of all technical information received by the Participating TO and the CAISO from the Interconnection Customer associated with interconnecting the Large Generating Facility.

  • Availability of Verizon Telecommunications Services 3.1 Verizon will provide a Verizon Telecommunications Service to Reconex for resale pursuant to this Attachment where and to the same extent, but only where and to the same extent, that such Verizon Telecommunications Service is provided to Verizon’s Customers. 3.2 Except as otherwise required by Applicable Law, subject to Section 3.1, Verizon shall have the right to add, modify, grandfather, discontinue or withdraw, Verizon Telecommunications Services at any time, without the consent of Reconex. 3.3 To the extent required by Applicable Law, the Verizon Telecommunications Services to be provided to Reconex for resale pursuant to this Attachment will include a Verizon Telecommunications Service customer-specific contract service arrangement (“CSA”) (such as a customer specific pricing arrangement or individual case based pricing arrangement) that Verizon is providing to a Verizon Customer at the time the CSA is requested by Reconex.

  • Procurement of Goods and Services (a) If the HSP is subject to the procurement provisions of the BPSAA, the HSP will abide by all directives and guidelines issued by the Management Board of Cabinet that are applicable to the HSP pursuant to the BPSAA. (b) If the HSP is not subject to the procurement provisions of the BPSAA, the HSP will have a procurement policy in place that requires the acquisition of supplies, equipment or services valued at over $25,000 through a competitive process that ensures the best value for funds expended. If the HSP acquires supplies, equipment or services with the Funding it will do so through a process that is consistent with this policy.

  • Information Technology Accessibility Standards Any information technology related products or services purchased, used or maintained through this Grant must be compatible with the principles and goals contained in the Electronic and Information Technology Accessibility Standards adopted by the Architectural and Transportation Barriers Compliance Board under Section 508 of the federal Rehabilitation Act of 1973 (29 U.S.C. §794d), as amended.   • Electrical appliance safety The Hirer shall ensure that any electrical appliances brought by them to the premises and used there shall be safe, in good working order, and used in a safe manner in accordance with the Electricity at Work Regulations 1989. Where a residual circuit breaker is provided the hirer must make use of it in the interests of public safety.

  • Traffic Control The Surveyor shall control traffic in and near surveying operations adequately to comply with provisions of the latest edition of the Texas Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices – Part VI which can be found on the State’s internet site. In the event field crew personnel must divert traffic or close traveled lanes, a Traffic Control Plan based upon principles outlined in the latest edition of the Texas Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices – Part VI shall be prepared by the Surveyor and approved by the State prior to commencement of field work. A copy of the approved plan shall be in the possession of field crew personnel on the job site at all times and shall be made available to the State’s personnel for inspection upon request.
