Eligibility for Holiday Pay. Except as provided in Section 5 of this Article, to receive holiday pay for a fixed holiday, the following conditions must be met during the pay period in which the fixed holiday fell. (1) The employee must have been hired prior to or at the start of the pay period and not have separated prior to the end of the pay period in which such fixed holiday fell. (2) The employee must be paid for at least one-half (1/2) of their regularly scheduled hours. (3) The employee must have been on an approved leave of absence for any unpaid hours. (4) The employee must have not had any unauthorized leave.
