Eligible Checks. You agree that you will use the Service to make deposits to your Card account only by transmitting to us Check Images of “Eligible Checks”. Eligible Checks are checks drawn on U.S. domiciled financial institutions in U.S. dollars that are: • payroll checks; • insurance agency checks; • cashier’s checks; • money orders; • rebate checks; • stock dividend checks; • checks issued by a business to you; • tax refund checks; • federal, state and municipal government checks; and • personal checks. Eligible Checks must also meet the following criteria: • the valid MICR number, check number and name of the payer are all commercially imprinted on the Original Check; • your signature (endorsement) is legibly written in ink on the Original Check along with the wordsFor Mobile Deposit Only”; • the payer’s U.S. street address and zip code are written on the Original Check; • the check is submitted within ninety (90) days of the check date; • the image quality must meet the standards established by the American National Standards Institute, the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve, and any other regulatory agency, clearing house or association; and • the check does not contain erasures and was not altered.

Eligible Checks. You can only scan and deposit original paper checks (as defined in the Expedited Funds Availability Act/Regulation CC) that are drawn on or payable through U.S. financial institutions. We are not obligated to accept for deposit any check image that we determine to be ineligible for Mobile RDC including but not limited to: o Checks payable to a third party; o Demand drafts or remotely created checks (i.e., checks lacking the original signature of the drawer); o Checks drawn on the same account; o Checks that are altered, incomplete, damaged or irregular in any way ( e.g., where the numerical and written amounts are different; checks that are postdated or more than six-months old; o Checks drawn on a foreign bank or payable in a foreign currency; o Checks payable to Cash; o Registered government warrants; o Monetary instruments such as travelers checks, US Savings Bonds, etc.: o Any check that you suspect is fraudulent or not properly authorized; or o Any check or checks that exceed the transaction limitation(s) that we establish from time totime.

Eligible Checks. You agree to deposit only “checks” as that term is defined in Federal Reserve Regulation CC (“Reg. CC”). When the image of the check transmitted to Peoples Savings Bank is converted to an Image Replacement Document for subsequent presentment and collection, it shall thereafter be deemed an “item” within the meaning of Articles 3 and 4 of the Uniform Commercial Code (UCC). You agree that you will not deposit any of the following types of checks or other items which shall be considered ineligible items:  Checks payable to any person or entity other than the person or entity that owns the account that the check is being deposited into  Checks containing an alteration on the front of the check or item, or which you know or suspect, or should know or suspect, are fraudulent or otherwise not authorized by the owner of the account on which the check is drawn  Checks payable jointly, unless deposited into an account in the name of all payees.  Checks previously converted to a substitute check, as defined in Reg. CC.  Checks drawn on a financial institution located outside the United States.  Checks that are remotely created checks, as defined in Reg. CC.  Checks not payable in United States currency.  Checks dated more than 6 months prior to the date of deposit.  Checks or items prohibited by Peoples Savings Bank’s current procedures relating to the Services which are otherwise not acceptable under the terms of your Peoples Savings Bank account.  Checks payable on sight or payable through Drafts, as defined in Reg. CC.  Checks with any endorsement on the back other than that specified in this agreement.  Checks that have previously been submitted through the Service or through a remote deposit capture service offered at any other financial institution.  Checks or items that are drawn or otherwise issued by the U.S. Treasury Department.

You agree that you will not use the Service to scan and deposit any checks as shown below: a. Checks payable to any person or entity other than you. b. Checks containing alteration to any of the fields on the front of the check or item, or which you know or suspect, or should know or suspect, are fraudulent or otherwise not authorized by the owner of the account on which the check or item is drawn. c. Checks previously converted to a substitute check, as defined in Regulation CC. d. Checks drawn or payable through any foreign bank or a financial institution located outside the United States. e. Checks that are remotely created checks, as defined in Regulation CC. f. Checks not payable in United States currency. g. Checks dated more than 6 months prior to the date of deposit. h. Checks that are in any way incomplete. i. Checks prohibited by the Bank’s current procedures relating to the Service or which are otherwise not acceptable under the terms of your Account Agreement. j. Checks on which the numerical and written amount are different. k. Checks that have been previously returned unpaid by the financial institution on which they are drawn. l. Checks that are payable to cash. m. Money Orders.
Eligible Checks. You agree the Checks you image and deposit shall only be checks made out to you and drawn on a U.S. financial institution. You also agree that when the image of the Check transmitted to Synovus is converted to an image replacement document for subsequent presentment and collection, it shall thereafter be deemed an “item” within the meaning of Articles 3 and 4 of the Uniform Commercial Code. a. Foreign checks (meaning checks drawn on financial institutions that reside outside the United States or its territories or that otherwise do not clear through the Federal Reserve System). b. Any checks or items made payable to any person, company, or party other than you.‌ c. Checks or items for non-business purposes (no checks for personal, household, or family purposes may be deposited). d. Checks or items payable jointly unless deposited to an account in the name of all joint payees. e. Checks or items containing an alteration on the front of the item, or which you know or suspect, or should have known or suspected, are fraudulent or otherwise not authorized by the owner of the account on which the check is drawn. f. Checks or items written on an account owned by you or on which you are a xxxxxx. g. Checks that are remotely created as defined by Reg. CC or which are not in original form or are substitute checks.‌ h. Checks or items that are drawn or otherwise issued by the U.S. Treasury or that are Treasury Tax and Loan payments. i. Cashier’s checks, teller’s checks, money orders, or traveler’s checks.‌ j. Checks or items that are stale-dated or more than six (6) months old. k. Checks or items that are post-dated or future-dated. l. Checks or items not payable is U.S. currency.‌ m. Checks or items which have been previously deposited in any manner (including use of the Mobile Deposits Service or other means). n. Checks or items not endorsed as required by Synovus.
