Emergency Assignments. If an emergency arises, a change in previously made course assignments may become necessary. If so, the Department Chairperson (or in his/her absence, the Xxxx) shall consult with the Personnel and Budget Committee to solicit their views, and shall consult with the affected faculty member in an effort to achieve the solution that is best for all concerned. Any reasonable change by the Xxxx shall be final.
