Emergency Breakdown Roster. There will be an arrangement on a voluntary basis for the required number of suitably qualified, trained and competent employee(s) to make themselves available for call-outs for after-hours emergency breakdown service. The Company has contractual obligations to third parties under which it must provide emergency breakdown service and will consult with employees to enter into a roster arrangement, in the event that there are insufficient volunteers An employee who is required to be available for after-hours emergency breakdown call-outs agrees to remain available for contact by mobile phone. Subject to the Company's operational requirements, employees who make themselves available for the emergency breakdown roster and who are required to be available for after-hours emergency breakdown call-outs will have access to the fully equipped emergency breakdown designated vehicle for the period for which the employee is required to be available (which will usually be for a period of one month), which may be used for business related travel and limited local private use only. This arrangement for employees to have access to the fully equipped emergency breakdown designated vehicle will be available to employees only while they are available for after-hours emergency breakdown call-outs. For the avoidance of doubt, this excludes employees who are on annual leave, other forms of leave or an RDO, because the emergency breakdown designated vehicle may need to be used by the Company in the employee's absence. Where the Company's operational requirements prevent an employee being given access to the fully equipped emergency breakdown designated vehicle while on the emergency breakdown roster, that employee will be paid (in addition to any call out overtime rate which will be payable if the employee is called out) the following daily standby allowance for each day on duty; Weekday $10.40 Weekend or Public Holiday $20.80
