Emergency Overtime definition

Emergency Overtime shall be defined as overtime that becomes available without advance notice to the University and occurs outside, but not contiguous to the normal work shift of affected employees.
Emergency Overtime results from an emergency that requires immediate action outside of regular hours and when the minimum notice cannot be given.
Emergency Overtime means those hours worked for fire or other emergencies which require the call-back of additional personnel to augment on-duty personnel or to maintain minimum staffing levels when on-duty employees are involved in emergency situations.

More Definitions of Emergency Overtime

Emergency Overtime is defined as all calls in which the employee is called back to work on their normal day off to assist at a major incident.
Emergency Overtime means work that must be done without delay because of circumstances for which the Employer could not reasonably have expected to make provision and which cannot be performed by employees during their ordinary hours of work. Emergency work excludes the performance of routine maintenance work outside normal working hours.
Emergency Overtime will be considered overtime required at the end of the day to accommodate clients who may arrive just prior to the Recorder’s Office closing and going beyond 5:00 PM to complete the service. This overtime will be offered to those employees who are at work at the time and the overtime will to the employee with the least amount of overtime based on the overtime list. Refusal to work emergency overtime will be done in writing on the form provided. Employees shall earn double time after twelve (12) hours of work in any work day and for work done on Sundays and holidays. All overtime must be approved by management in advance.
Emergency Overtime. Shall include all sworn Department Personnel as needed. A list of persons used, date, and time, along with the listed emergency is to be maintained.
Emergency Overtime. Any unscheduled overtime that may arise after the 12:01 deadline of each 30 Monday, the start of the workweek, which includes any requested item with twenty-four (24) hours 31 or less of notification.
