Emergency School Closure. The District will make a reasonable effort to notify employees as early as possible when schools will be closed or the opening of school will be delayed. Should delayed starts be later changed to closure and employees arrive on site, employees shall receive a minimum of one hour per diem. When schools are closed early due to inclement weather, employees in the bargaining unit shall be permitted to leave immediately after all students are dismissed. Following cancellation notification, if employees are required by administration to remain on site to supervise students, they will be paid at per diem. In the event that the District administration decides to delay the opening of school due to inclement weather, employees shall report thirty (30) minutes before the students arrive.
