Emergency Shift Changes. It is understood that, in the event of a major emergency, such as an energy crisis, all contractual reference to working days, hours, etc. shall have to be adjusted to effectively cope with the emergency. Such adjustments are deemed to be a proper matter for the Conference Committee.
Emergency Shift Changes. An employee assigned a different shift on less than seven (7) days’ notice, as a result of an emergency as defined in Article 8, Employer Rights, Section 2, shall be paid at the overtime rate for the first day of the new shift assignment.
