Employee Benefits Coverage While on Sick Leave. In the case of absence for illness or accident (WCB), the Employer will pay the premiums for medical, dental, extended health, group life and AD&D for a maximum of six (6) months from the commencement of the illness or accident. Thereafter the employee may pay the full premiums through the employer provided it is permissible under the plan by paying the premiums one (1) month in advance.

  • Interim Benefits Coverage 4.3.1 For the current term the Boards agree to contribute funds to support the Trust as follows:

  • Benefits While on Leave An employee will continue to receive her/his salary and benefits while on paid leave under this Article. An employee on unpaid leave may arrange to pay the costs required to maintain benefit coverage in accordance with the local provisions of the collective agreement.
