Employee Definitions. (a) Full-Time Regular An employee hired to fill an ongoing position vacated by a regular employee or hired to fill a position which is of a continuing nature. New employees will be considered probationary for a period of up to 6 months as provided in Article 7.01. The employee will participate in Benefit Plans in accordance with Article 10, and in the Pension Plan. By agreement with the Union, the Employer may hire a temporary employee to fill a position vacated by a regular employee.
