Employee Education. Current employees and supervisors will attend an educational session to present and discuss this DFWP. There will be an opportunity to ask questions. In addition, a qualified professional will offer at least one (1) session designed to make employees aware of substance use as a problem, the effects it can have on the individual and the family, signs and symptoms of use, effects of commonly used drugs in the workplace, the model of chemical dependency, and how to get help. There will be a minimum of two (2) hours of educational awareness offered annually to all employees. New employees will learn about this program during orientation, and they will receive substance education as soon as possible thereafter.
