Employees New to Schools with Onsite Cooking. New Employees hired to a school with onsite cooking on or after March 1, 2016, will be paid $.25 an hour less than the starting wage until they complete Sanitation classes. If they pass the Sanitation Test and obtain their Sanitation Certificate within the first year of employment in the school with onsite cooking, then such Employees will be reimbursed the $.25 an hour retroactive to their first date of employment in the school with onsite cooking.
