Employees transferred to positions outside the. bargaining unit and later returned to the bargaining unit shall retain their seniority as of the date they left the bargaining unit, but shall not accumulate seniority while in a position outside the bargaining unit. For job posting, layoff and recall only, seniority for those returning from an excluded position to a bargaining unit position shall be the latest date of entry to the bargaining unit.
