Employer Assistance. The BCGEU will endeavour to assist an employee who recognizes the presence of the personal problem, either physical, social or mental, which is adversely affecting their job performance. For the purpose of this policy, "personal problems" will be identified with issues such as marital or legal difficulties, financial concerns, psychological/stress related situations, drug and alcohol abuse and so forth. The cost of the agreed upon referral agent will be borne solely by the BCGEU.

Employer Assistance. Employer shall assist in the enrollment of the employees in the Plan, cooperate with DBI regarding the proper settlement of claims, and transmit any inquiries pertaining to the Plan to DBI. Late notification of Plan eligibility or incorrect plan eligibility provided by Employer to DBI may result in erroneous plan benefit payments, for which Employer shall be solely responsible. Employer shall also be responsible for collecting any such erroneous payments from the employee. If there are insufficient Employer funds available to restore the erroneous payments or if the requested reimbursement of funds would otherwise cause the Minimum Account Balance deposit (if applicable) to become insufficient, DBI may suspend all services under this Agreement and request immediate restoration of funds from Employer.
Employer Assistance. The Employer will support and assist Employees with respect to preventing student from improperly interfering with the performance of work.

  • Other Assistance Assist SBEs in their efforts to obtain bonds, lines of credit and insurance. (Note that the Agency has a Surety Bond Program that may assist SBEs in obtaining necessary bonding.) The Agency-Assisted Contractor or Contractor(s) shall require no more stringent bond or insurance standards of SBEs than required of other business enterprises.

  • Dependent Care Assistance Program The County offers the option of enrolling in a Dependent Care Assistance Program (DCAP) designed to qualify for tax savings under Section 129 of the Internal Revenue Code, but such savings are not guaranteed. The program allows employees to set aside up to five thousand dollars ($5,000) of annual salary (before taxes) per calendar year to pay for eligible dependent care (child and elder care) expenses. Any unused balance is forfeited and cannot be recovered by the employee.

  • Employee Assistance Programs Consistent with the University's Employee Assistance Program, employees participating in an employee assistance program who receive a notice of layoff may continue to participate in that program for a period of ninety (90) days following the layoff.

  • Employee Assistance Program Neither the fact of an employee's participation in an employee assistance program, nor information generated by participation in the program, shall be used as a reason for discipline under this Article, except for information relating to an employee's failure to participate in an employee assistance program consistent with the terms to which the employee and the University have agreed.

  • Tuition Assistance Bargaining unit employees can enroll in university or college, vocational technical school or extension courses. The course may be by correspondence or attendance at classes during non-working hours or during working hours with approval of the Agency Head and/or his/her Designee. Where practicable, in relation to work requirements, the Employer shall be liberal with the approval of requests for accrued/unused vacation leave, flex-time scheduling, compensatory time, or leave without pay for the purpose of enabling employees to attend classes conducted during an employee's regularly scheduled work hours.

  • Employee Assistance Plan The District will provide an Employee Assistance Plan (EAP) which allows each employee to refer themselves confidentially to the EAP provider. To protect confidentiality, any data which the provider transmits to the District shall be summary only. The Employee Assistance Plan will include individual and/or family counseling.

  • Peer Assistance and Review (PAR) Consulting Teachers (CT) will be assigned to all new teachers with no prior teaching experience and tenured teachers rated ineffective on the qualitative measures at the end of the previous school year and recommended by the PAR Panel.
