Common use of Employer to Arrange for Coverage Clause in Contracts

Employer to Arrange for Coverage. The Union recognizes and agrees that the Employer's obligations and liability with regard to providing the benefit and insurance coverage agreed to herein is in all events limited to arranging for the underwriting coverage by the insurer(s) and for the internal procedural administration of the Plans. The Employer cannot be held liable for refusal by the insurer(s) to underwrite any plan, for cancellation of coverage of any Plan by the insurer(s) or for the rejection of any claim or claims by the insurer(s).
