Common use of Endowed Chairs Clause in Contracts

Endowed Chairs. Beginning July 1, 2007, after meeting and conferring with the Association, a President may institute standards and procedures for the establishment of an endowed chair position at the university and the selection of a faculty member to fill such positions. The funding to support an endowed chair position must come from sources other than tuition, fees or the legislative appropriation to the Minnesota State Colleges and Universities, or proceeds from the same.
