Equipment/Tools. Contractor’s equipment/tools must be suitable to perform the Janitorial Services consistent with this Master Contract and as required by Purchaser. Contractor’s equipment/tools must comply with workplace requirements including Occupational Safety Health Administration ("OSHA") standards and requirements. Contractor must store and maintain all equipment/tools necessary to perform the Janitorial Services. Contractor shall maintain an appropriate amount of equipment/tools in working order to perform the Janitorial Services. Contractor shall provide to the Purchaser a list of critical equipment/tools that will be accessible for use as backup in the event that necessary equipment/tools are out of service. Lack of equipment/tools shall not justify a failure to timely perform the Janitorial Services.

Equipment/Tools. The cost of any safety equipment or specific tools required to perform a task shall be paid by the employer.
Equipment/Tools. The Company shall provide droplights, tape, hacksaw frames and blades, special tools, files, drills, hammer handles of all sizes, wire pliers, wheel dollies and flashlights and batteries when conditions warrant, or other special equipment needed. Each repairman and mechanic shall be required to submit a list of their tools. This list shall be signed and dated by the Xxxxxxx, and a copy thereof supplied to the Union. Effective for the tool allowance payable in December 2019, the Company will provide each repairman and mechanic with a $425.00 annual tool allowance which will be paid in the second pay week of December and will provide metric tools as required. Effective for the allowance payable in December 2019, the Company will provide a $125.00 Safety Shoe Allowance for all Maintenance Department employees and further provide that Cleaners/Custodians, Mail Clerks, Central Stores Clerks, and Warranty Clerks, with at least one (1) year of service will be entitled to the Safety Shoe Allowance. This allowance will be paid in the second pay week of December.
Equipment/Tools. (a) The Company may require an employee to sign a receipt for equipment and tools. This receipt must list the item/s and the value of them. If, when an employee ceases employment, the employee does not return the item/s in accordance with the receipt, the Company will be entitled to deduct the value as stated on the receipt from any moneys owing to the employee at the time of termination.

All employees in Organization offices are eligible for the same or equivalent in quality office equipment as DC office employees, for both electronic equipment and office furniture. Employees with an approved permanent remote work arrangement are eligible to receive equipment including but not limited to a computer, monitor, docking station, and printer/scanner supplied by the Organization. Employees with approved regular or occasional remote work arrangements should utilize the laptop provided for their regular office when working remotely. Monitors, keyboards, and office phones are not provided to employees with approved regular or occasional remote work arrangements. The Organization will also reimburse the employee for business-related expenses, approved by supervisors authorized to approve check requests, that are reasonably incurred in accordance with job responsibilities. As part of the application for permanent remote work, employees who are not within a reasonable distance of an Organization office or whom the Organization does not have space to accommodate in the employee’s local Organization office are eligible for up to $200 per month for membership in a co-working space. Employees who are already working with a permanent remote work arrangement may apply as well using a form provided by the Human Resources Department with the approval of their department Senior Vice President. Equipment/Tools. The Organization will provide support in a number of ways for employees to establish and maintain a successful remote workplace. Employees will be provided with an initial Technology Reimbursement and an annual Home Office Reimbursement for use toward improving and outfitting a remote workplace. Reimbursements will be provided after the submission of valid receipts for purchases made by the employee and approval from management. ● Upon hire, employees will be eligible for an initial Technology Reimbursement of up to $1200 to reimburse the expense of purchasing a computer or laptop, and $400 /year in Home Office Reimbursement to use toward their own home office equipment, furniture, or materials. Remote workplace equipment includes but is not limited to external monitors, external keyboards, office chairs, computer microphones, webcams, office desks, and computer mice. At the employee’s discretion, the annual Home Office Reimbursement may also be applied to the purchase of a computer or laptop or to the cost of home wi-fi service. Those employees seeking to use their initial Technology or annual Home Office Reimbursement must submit a Concerted Action expense request form accompanied by receipts for all items being expensed. ● Expenses reimbursement requests must be submitted monthly during the first week of the month after which the expense was incurred (i.e. September items need to be submitted for reimbursement during the first week of October). ● Employees must complete a new Expense Reimbursement Google Sheet each month they are submitting an expense reimbursement request. ● Email the completed Expense Reimbursement Google Sheet along with copies of all receipts to their supervisor via email. ● Receipts should use clear file names of the date and vendor as it appears in the Expense Reimbursement Google Sheet. Employees who leave Concerted Action for any reason within 90 days of receiving their Technology or Remote Xxxxxxx must reimburse the stipend amount, which will be deducted from their final paycheck.
