ESTHETICIAN. The educational objectives of this course is to train students in all phases of skin care and makeup. To prepare the students for the State Board Exam and for employment in the field of esthetics. To teach good work, study, health and safety habits. To promote goal setting, positive approach to career planning, self-motivation and ethics. To encourage students to continue their education in advanced and related courses, including business courses. To disseminate all information regarding starting and operating their own business. The curriculum for students enrolled in the course of esthetics is the minimum required hours, classes, and criteria as prescribed by the California State Board of Barbering and Cosmetology. The 600 hours may be completed in approximately 15 weeks. The instruction will consist of demonstration, lecture, classroom participation and examination: practical operation means the actual performance by the student of a complete service on another person or on a mannequin.   • Aesthetics All decisions of the Design Professional on matters of aesthetics are final, conclusive, and binding on all parties if consistent with the requirements of the Contract Documents.

  • MEDICAL FITNESS 12:01 The Employer may require an employee to have a psychiatric examination and/or a physical examination by a duly qualified medical practitioner acceptable to the Employer.

  • Medical Examination Where the Employer requires an employee to submit to a medical examination or medical interview, it shall be at the Employer's expense and on the Employer's time.

  • MEDICALLY FRAGILE STUDENTS 1. If a teacher will be providing instructional or other services to a medically fragile student, the teacher or another adult who will be present when the instruction or other services are being provided will be advised of the steps to be taken in the event an emergency arises relating to the student's medical condition.
