Excessive Travel a) It is recognized that in some situations travel might be excessive. In these cases, the preference is for the supervisor and the employee to arrive at a mutual agreement as to what constitutes “excessive”. This determination should be based on the following considerations: • the amount of travel time that is required (hours per day, week and month) • the choice of travel options • the cost of travel choice/option • if the employee travels with PWU employees (i.e., internal relativity) • the time above and beyond the employee’s normal travel time between home and normal work headquarters • the desire to compensate for travel time with time off Where there is no mutual agreement, excessive travel time shall be defined as follows and compensated at straight time: • the travel time in excess of one hour at the beginning and end of the normal scheduled day and greater than the employee’s normal travel time; OR • where the daily rate is not exceeded, the travel time in excess of five hours per week greater than the employee’s normal travel time; OR • where neither the daily nor weekly rate is exceeded, the travel time in excess of twenty (20) hours per month greater than the employee’s normal travel time. b) When a special assignment calls for departure from the employee’s home in the evening, or on a regular day off, time spent in travel will be compensated at straight time.
Excessive Travel a) Travel Time in excess of one hour at the beginning and one hour at the end of the normally scheduled day will be compensated at straight time. b) When an assignment requires departure from the employee‟s home the night before, or on a regular day off, time spent in travel will be compensated at straight time.
Excessive Travel. 20.6.1. Any excessive travel time will be paid at the applicable penalty rate (as per Clause 15. Overtime). Excessive travel is defined as; any travel time to a location other than the Usual Place of Work, outside of normal working hours. Any excessive travel will be by mutual agreement between CES and the Technician.
Excessive Travel. In circumstances where travel by the most direct practical route between two consecutive rostered events exceeds fifteen (15) kilometres, an additional unit of time will be paid totalling a maximum of 30 minutes.

  • Preservative-treated Wood Containing Arsenic Grantee may not purchase preservative-treated wood products containing arsenic in the performance of this Agreement unless an exemption from the requirements of Chapter 13 of the San Francisco Environment Code is obtained from the Department of the Environment under Section 1304 of the Code. The term “preservative-treated wood containing arsenic” shall mean wood treated with a preservative that contains arsenic, elemental arsenic, or an arsenic copper combination, including, but not limited to, chromated copper arsenate preservative, ammoniacal copper zinc arsenate preservative, or ammoniacal copper arsenate preservative. Grantee may purchase preservative-treated wood products on the list of environmentally preferable alternatives prepared and adopted by the Department of the Environment. This provision does not preclude Grantee from purchasing preservative-treated wood containing arsenic for saltwater immersion. The term “saltwater immersion” shall mean a pressure-treated wood that is used for construction purposes or facilities that are partially or totally immersed in saltwater.

  • Transporting Students 1. Employees shall not transport students except in accordance with School Board rules. The Board shall adopt a school board policy outlining the teacher’s and the Board’s responsibilities and liabilities. Said policy shall be included in all school handbooks beginning with the 2004-05 school year. 2. Teachers will not be required to transport pupils to and from activities which take place away from the school grounds.

  • Containers The marine and intermodal cargo containers either owned or leased by the Borrower and employed by the Borrower in the conduct of its business, including, without limitation, refrigerated, dry van, tank, open top and flat rack containers and refrigeration units and generator sets associated therewith, but excluding any chassis for such containers.

  • Restricted Territory Executive and Company understand and agree that Company’s business is not geographically restricted and is unrelated to the physical location of Company facilities or the physical location of any Competing Business, due to extensive use of the Internet, telephones, facsimile transmissions and other means of electronic information and product distribution. Executive and Company further understand and agree that Executive will, in part, work toward expanding Company’s markets and geographic business territories and will be compensated for performing this work on behalf of Company. Accordingly, Company has a protectable business interest in, and the parties intend the Restricted Territory to encompass, each and every location from which Executive could engage in a Competing Business in any country, state, province, county or other political subdivision in which Company has clients, employees, suppliers, distributors or other business partners or operations. If, but only if, this Restricted Territory is held to be invalid on the grounds that it is unreasonably broad, then the Restricted Territory shall be any location within a fifty (50) mile radius of any Company office.

  • Products Products available under this Contract are limited to Software, including Software as a Service, products and related products as specified in Appendix C, Pricing Index. Vendor may incorporate changes to their product offering; however, any changes must be within the scope of products awarded based on the posting described in Section 1.B above. Vendor may not add a manufacturer’s product line which was not included in the Vendor’s response to the solicitation described in Section 1.B above.

  • Firearms The Resident agrees to comply with University policy which states that firearms are not allowed on University property, and acknowledges that California Penal Code section 626.9 prohibits the possession of firearms on University of California property.

  • Competing Products The provisions of Section 21 are set forth on attached Exhibit H and are incorporated in this Section 21 by this reference.

  • Quantities The estimated quantities provided by the City are not guaranteed. These quantities are listed for informational purposes only. Quantities vary depending on the demands of the City. Any variations from the estimated quantities shall not entitle the bidder to an adjustment in the unit price or any additional compensation.

  • Weapons We have a zero tolerance of the possession of weapons (sword, knives etc) or firearms (guns etc) in the Room, Building or Common Property. If You are found in possession of weapons, firearms or implements associated with their use in the Room, Building or Common Property We will immediately terminate this agreement and inform the relevant UNSW and legal authorities.

  • Explosives Explosives or other highly flammable substances shall not be stored or used on Railroad's property without the prior written approval of Railroad.
