Regular Day Off. At the option of the University, a full-time employee whose regular day off falls on a holiday listed above shall receive either eight (8) hours of holiday pay at the regular straight time rate or another day off, and a part-time employee shall receive proportionate holiday pay at the regular straight time rate or another day off up to a maximum of eight (8) hours.
Regular Day Off. (i) All full-time (excluding the Group 1 listed in Letter of Understanding # 2) who desire two (2) consecutive days off will be given the two (2) consecutive days off every second (2nd) week. As well, once every five (5) weeks, those two (2) consecutive days off may be a Friday-Saturday, Saturday- Sunday or Sunday-Monday if the full-time employee desires a weekend off, as long as the Employer can maintain a sufficient workforce for the proper operation of the business.
(ii) In scheduling such “weekend offs” where the employer is not able to schedule one (1) in five (5) due to maintaining a sufficient workforce for the proper operations of the business the employee would receive the weekend off prior (i.e., one (1) in four (4) or the weekend off following (i.e., one (1) in six (6). For clarity, where the Employee does not receive their one (1) in five (5), the Employer shall endeavour to the extent that is possible to schedule weekend off prior (i.e., one (1) in four (4).
(b) Full-time employees shall be given a regular day off except where replacing for vacation or it is their weekend off, provided the employer can maintain a sufficient workforce for the proper operation of the business.
Regular Day Off. When a holiday falls on a regular assigned day off for a permanent employee, such employee shall either be compensated by the addition of 7.5 or 8 hours to the employee’s compensating time balance or by the payment of an additional 7.5 or 8 hours straight time for that pay period depending on the employee’s basic work week as defined in Article 22.1(a). Employees who wish to take the day after such holiday off, rather than receive such compensation, shall be permitted to do so whenever possible.
Regular Day Off. Employee Works
Regular Day Off is a unit employee’s regular assigned day off from work, and when assigned to standby “on call” assignment, they shall receive four (4) hours of overtime for standby “on call” time for each twenty-four (24) hours on their regular day off.
Regular Day Off. Any full-time employee who either works on the 7/70 agreement or twelve (12) hour shifts per section 9.3 who is called in on his/her scheduled day off shall be paid at the rate of one and one-half (1 1/2) the regular rate of pay for the hours worked.
Regular Day Off. An operator required to work on his or her regular days off in any scheduled work week shall be paid no less than eight (8) hours work. Operators working RDO will be paid time and a half for such work only if the operator has worked 40 hours in the previously scheduled work week, or has authorized 222. Authorized absences include vacation, holidays, jury duty leave, maternity leave, bereavement leave and absences pursuant to section 9.7(f). For operators with 80 or more hours accumulated sick leave, authorized absences will include sick leave with pay. For operators with less than 80 hours accumulated sick leave, authorized absences will not include sick leave with pay. For the purpose of this section sick leave without pay will not be included as authorized absences. The distribution and eligibility for RDO work shall be subject to rules established by the Director of Transportation after consultation with the Union. RDO assignments shall be made first from the RDO list in the division. If the RDO list in the division is exhausted, the Division Dispatcher may call from other division's RDO lists, with the first priority given to operators on the same mode of equipment. (trolley coach, LRV, cable car and diesel are recognized as separate modes of equipment for the purpose of this section only, whether the vehicles are articulated or not.)

Regular Day Off. A day during the administrative workweek on which an employee is not scheduled to work.
Regular Day Off. Anytime an employee is called in (unscheduled) on a regular day 23 off and works more than ten consecutive hours, the employee shall be entitled to a meal 24 reimbursement (except when that employee is called in to work a rotating shift).
