Executive’s Position. On the terms and subject to the conditions set forth in this Agreement, the Company shall employ Executive to serve as an officer of the Company and as President and Chief Executive Officer of the Company. The Executive shall report directly to the Company's Board of Directors (the "Board"). Executive shall perform such services in the Company's offices in Buena, New Jersey or such other location or locations as the Executive and the Board shall agree; provided, however, that Executive will be required to travel from time to time for business purposes.
Executive’s Position. On the terms and subject to the conditions set forth in this Agreement, the Company shall employ Executive to serve as Vice President, Operations of the Company and USI. Executive shall report to the Chief Operating Officer of USI (the “USI COO”).

Executive’s Position. Executive is currently a member of Rockford’s senior management team, with the title identified on the signature page of this Agreement.
Executive’s Position. Executive shall report directly to the Chief Executive Officer of the Company on a continuing and uninterrupted basis, subject to Section 2(c). Company’s Board of Directors, consistently with its fiduciary duties, shall nominate Executive for election to Company’s Board of Directors and Executive shall be re-elected as a member of such Board upon any expiration of each term as a director during the Employment Period. Not later than 18 months after the Start Date, Company shall give Executive the title of President and Chief Operating Officer of Company. Executive’s duties, responsibilities, and authority shall include (i) overseeing all of the Department Store Group’s operating divisions, and (ii) overseeing of all marketing, merchandising and planning functions.
Executive’s Position. On the terms and subject to the conditions set forth in this Agreement, the Company shall employ Executive to serve as regional chief executive officer of the USI California Region. Executive shall report to the Chief Executive Officer of USI, or his designee (the “USI CEO”).
Executive’s Position. On the terms and subject to the conditions set forth in this Agreement, the Company shall employ Executive to serve as President and Chief Executive Officer of the Company. Executive shall report to the Board of Directors of the Company and the Executive Committee thereof. Executive shall perform such services in the Company's offices in Buena New Jersey (except for the time before the executive can relocate to a reasonable distance from Buena as per section 4.5 of this agreement, in which Executive is expected to work from his Buena office for an average of three days per week and from his home for the remainder of the time) and shall incur such business travel as may be reasonably required of him in the performance of his duties. Executive shall also be nominated by the Board of Directors each year during the Term (provided a notice of non-renewal or notice of termination of employment has not been sent by either party prior to the date the annual Proxy Statement is sent to stockholders) to be a director of the Company. Nothing herein shall require the Board of Directors to nominate Executive, the only consequence of such failure being that the Company shall be in breach of this Agreement. <PAGE>
Executive’s Position. On the terms and subject to the conditions set forth in this Agreement, the Company shall employ Executive to serve as Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer of the Company and USI. In connection with his employment hereunder, Executive shall not be required to reside anywhere other than the San Francisco, California area.
Executive’s Position. The Executive agrees to remain the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Parent until the earlier of (a) the date the Parent hires a new CEO or (b) December 31, 2002; provided, however, if a new CEO is hired by the Parent before December 31, 2002, then the Executive agrees to serve as an advisor to the new CEO and assist in the new CEO's transition until December 31, 2002.
