Experience Credit Outside the School District. The School District will determine the initial salary schedule placement based on teaching experience. Any exception may be made by mutual agreement with the Association. In order for a teacher to be given credit for a full year of experience for the initial step placement on the salary schedule, a teacher must have worked eight hundred twenty (820) or more hours in a school year for which he or she would be given credit for and the time worked must be in the same school district. Hours that are worked beyond the eight hundred twenty (820) hour minimum in a school year will not count toward an additional step for placement on the salary schedule.

  • Disbursement Generally OEM shall reimburse eligible costs incurred in carrying out the Project, up to the Grant Fund amount provided in Section 3. Reimbursements shall be made by OEM upon approval by OEM of an RFR. Eligible costs are the reasonable and necessary costs incurred by Subrecipient for the Project, in accordance with the Emergency Management Performance Grants guidance and application materials, including without limitation the United States Department of Homeland Security Notice of Funding Opportunity Announcement (NOFO), that are not excluded from reimbursement by OEM, either by this Agreement or by exclusion as a result of financial review or audit.   • Non-Credit Courses In all cases, no tuition remission shall be made for courses not carrying academic credit, with the exception of nursery school. Individuals may take noncredit courses for one- half of the normal course fee, but no person will be allowed to take two or more such courses simultaneously at this rate. Registration will be handled on a first-come, first-serve basis with no more than twenty percent of the total available places being held for this purpose. A course not being closed on the first day of class may have additional individuals admitted at one-half of the normal course fee.

  • Opt-Outs (a) A Class Member who wishes to exclude himself or herself from this Agreement, and from the release of claims and defenses provided for under the terms of this Agreement, shall submit an Exclusion Letter by mail to the Claims Administrator. For an Exclusion Letter to be valid, it must be postmarked on or before the Bar Date to Opt Out. Any Exclusion Letter shall identify the Class Member, state that the Class Member wishes to exclude himself or herself from the Agreement, and shall be signed and dated.

  • PRIORITY HIRING CONSIDERATIONS If this Contract includes services in excess of $200,000, the Contractor shall give priority consideration in filling vacancies in positions funded by the Contract to qualified recipients of aid under Welfare and Institutions Code Section 11200 in accordance with Pub. Contract Code §10353.

  • Therapist Availability Therapist’s office is equipped with a confidential voice mail system that allows Patient to leave a message at any time. Therapist will make every effort to return calls within 24 hours (or by the next business day), but cannot guarantee the calls will be returned immediately. Therapist is unable to provide 24-hour crisis service. In the event that Patient is feeling unsafe or requires immediate medical or psychiatric assistance, he/she should call 911, or go to the nearest emergency room.

  • Facility Use The Employer shall allow individuals the use of gender- segregated facilities, such as restrooms, locker rooms, and dressing rooms that are consistent with that individual's gender expression or gender identity. In such facilities where undressing in the presence of others occurs, the Employer shall allow access to and use of a facility consistent with that individual's gender expression or gender identity.

  • Saver’s Credit for IRA Contributions A credit of up to $1,000, or up to $2,000 if married filing jointly, may be available to certain taxpayers having a joint AGI of less than $65,000 in 2020, or $66,000 in 2021. The credit may also be available to certain taxpayers who are heads of household with an AGI of less than $48,750 in 2020, $49,500 in 2021, or married individuals filing separately and singles with an AGI less than $32,500 in 2020, or $33,000 in 2021. Some of the restrictions that apply include: • the individual must be at least 18; • not a full-time student; • not declared as a dependent on another taxpayer’s return; or • any distribution from most retirement plans (qualified and non-qualified) will decrease the eligible contribution.
