Common use of Extended Educational Leave Clause in Contracts

Extended Educational Leave. After one (1) year of continuous employment, permission may be granted for leave of absence without pay for study without loss of accrued benefits to a limit of twenty-four (24) months.

Extended Educational Leave. After one (1) year of continuous employment, permission may be granted for leave of absence without pay for study without loss of accrued benefits up to a limit of twenty-four (24) months. The employee will not be guaranteed reinstatement to the same position upon return from such leave. If the employee obtains any position with the Hospital within twenty-four (24) months of beginning such leave, the employee’s balance of any accrued benefits at the time of taking the leave will be restored.
