Employee and Immediate Supervisor. If an employee has a grievance, the employee and/or Union representative shall first discuss it with the employee’s immediate supervisor within fourteen (14) calendar days from when the grievance arose. The supervisor shall have seven (7) calendar days to resolve the grievance.
Employee and Immediate Supervisor. It is the desire of the parties to this Agreement that grievances be resolved informally wherever possible and at the first level of supervision. If an employee has a grievance, the employee shall first discuss it with his or her immediate Supervisor within ten (10) working days.

If an employee has a grievance, the employee, union representative, and/or shop xxxxxxx must first present the grievance in writing to the Human Resources Department within fourteen (14) calendar days from the date the employee knew or had reason to know that a grievance existed. The grievance shall state the contractual provision violated and the relief sought. Upon receipt thereof, a meeting will be scheduled by the HR Department with the employee, Union Representative and/or Shop Xxxxxxx, and HR Representative and the immediate supervisor to attempt to resolve the problem. The immediate supervisor shall respond in writing to the employee, Union Representative and/or Shop Xxxxxxx, within fourteen (14) calendar days of a Step 1 meeting. A timely request for an extension to the fourteen-day period for filing a Step 1 grievance will not be unreasonably denied.

If the immediate supervisor is the employee’s department director, then the employee’s next step in this process is Step 3.

If an employee has a grievance, the employee and the Shop Xxxxxxx and/or Union Representative, if requested by the employee, must first present the grievance in writing to the employee's immediate supervisor within twenty-one (21) calendar days from the date the employee was or should have been aware that the grievance existed. Upon receipt thereof, the immediate supervisor shall attempt to resolve the problem and shall respond in writing to the employee within twenty-one (21) calendar days following receipt of the written grievance. Should the supervisor and the employee meet to resolve the grievance, a Shop Xxxxxxx and/or Union Representative may attend the meeting at the employee's request. Note: If a Union Representative is to be present at any step of this grievance procedure, the Hospital will be notified in advance and a representative fr01n the Human Resources Department may attend the meeting at the option of the Employer.
Employee and Immediate Supervisor a. The employee and/or his/her representative shall present to the Manager of Building Services all facts pertaining to the grievance.
b. The Manager of Building Services shall adjust the grievance at once, or notify the employee and/or his/her representative of his decision within five (5) working days following the day that the grievance is presented.

If an employee has a grievance, the employee must first present the grievance in writing to the employee’s immediate supervisor or designee within fourteen (14) calendar days from the date the employee knew or should have been aware of the facts giving rise to the grievance. A Union Delegate shall be present if requested by the employee. Upon receipt thereof, the supervisor shall meet with the employee and attempt to resolve the problem within fourteen (14) calendar day. The supervisor shall respond in writing to the employee within fourteen (14) calendar days following the meeting between the supervisor and the grievant. Step 2. Employee, Union Delegate/Representative and Senior Director of Human Resources If the matter is not resolved to the employee’s satisfaction at Step 1, the employee shall present the grievance in writing to the Senior Director of Human Resources and/or designee within fourteen (14) calendar days of the immediate supervisor’s decision. The Senior Director of Human Resources and/or designee shall meet with the parties within ten (10) days for the purpose of resolving the grievance. The Senior Director of Human Resources, or designee, shall issue a written reply within seven (7) calendar days following the grievance meeting.
