Extension of Maternity Leave With Leave of Absence Without Pay. (a) An employee who has been granted a maternity leave shall, upon written application for such additional leave, be granted an additional contiguous leave without pay such that the total length of the maternity leave plus the additional leave without pay is less than or equal to fifty-four (54) weeks.
