Extension ServicesFor the association to be able to provide services, they have to build their practical skills so that they can help members with forest and natural resource management and income generation. Since they have to provide a wide range of services, from practical NRM skills, information about new technologies, land use planning, access to markets, climate change adaptation and mitigation, to knowing about relevant legislation, they have to form networks and partnerships with governments, development organizations, the private sector, other CSOs, private service providers, and universities. By having access to information and a wide network, the association can build its technical capacity for better NRM. DFE has been building the technical capacity of its partners so that they can work on improving the practical skills of the organized target groups for better NRM.
