Extra-Curricular Bus Trips. 1. Each fall, winter and spring, the transportation services coordinator shall prepare a list of established extra-curricular athletic, band and cheerleader bus trips which will be posted in two (2) week increments on Fridays (paydays) four (4) weeks in advance. Drivers who have indicated an interest at the beginning of the season to participate in extra-curricular athletic bus trips will be awarded trips on the same Friday as above in two (2) week increments posted two (2) weeks in advance.

Extra-Curricular Bus Trips. Extracurricular bus trips which are driven by bargaining unit members will be assigned on a rotating basis from the appropriate list in order of seniority, starting with the most senior driver and proceeding to the least senior driver. Drivers shall be given three days’ notice of extra trips, except when three days’ notice is not possible. A driver who rejects the extra trip assignment rotates to the bottom of the list. Employees in the Bus Driver and Bus Driver/Grounds Maintenance classifications shall be included in the rotation for the extra-curricular bus trips. Dispatchers and mechanics are eligible for the after-hours rotation only.
Extra-Curricular Bus Trips. 1. When an extra bus trip opportunity within Monmouth or Richmond districts becomes available it will be posted. The bus drivers who have volunteered for extra bus trips within the respective district will be offered the extra work based on a seniority rotation list. If no driver from that district volunteers, then the drivers on the rotation list from the other district will be provided the opportunity for the extra bus trip.
