(f) - Meal Period. Employees shall not take more than one (1) continuous hour for meals however, should the taking of a full continuous hour for meals cause additional waiting time, the Company may request the employee to take not less than thirty (30) minutes. No employee shall be compelled to take more than one (1) continuous hour for meals and the meal period shall be between the fourth (4th) and sixth (6th) hours. Employees shall not however, be required to take any time off for meals before they have been on duty four (4) hours nor after they have been on duty six (6) hours.

(f) - Meal Period. With the exception of employees who work in the Police Department in the Records Bureau, Communications Bureau, Jail Bureau and Administrative Office, all employees in the unit receive a thirty (30) minute unpaid meal break. Employees in the Records Bureau, Communications Bureau, Identification Bureau (Forensics), Jail Bureau, and Administrative Office and employees in the classification of Traffic Control Officer and the assignment of Lead Traffic Control Officer do not receive a formal meal period. If they take a break to eat a meal it is part of their regularly scheduled hours and is paid. That said, the City will take all reasonable efforts to provide such employees with a breakmeal period sufficient for them to eat. All other employees in the unit receive a thirty (30) minute unpaid meal period.

Related to (f) - Meal Period

  • Meal Period ‌ A Contractor shall schedule an unpaid period of not more than 1/2 hour duration at the work location between the 3rd and 5th hour of the scheduled shift. A Contractor may, for efficiency of operation, establish a schedule which coordinates the meal periods of two or more crafts or which provides for staggered lunch periods within a craft or trade. If an employee is required to work through the meal period, the employee shall be compensated in a manner established in the applicable Schedule A.

  • Meal Periods (a) Meal periods shall be scheduled as closely as possible to the middle of the workday. The length of the meal period shall be not less than thirty (30) minutes and not more than sixty (60) minutes.

  • No-­‐Activation Period Registry Operator shall not activate any names in the DNS zone for the Registry TLD (except for "NIC") until at least 120 calendar days after the effective date of this agreement. Registry Operator may allocate names (subject to subsection 6.2 below) during this period only if Registry Operator causes registrants to be clearly informed of the inability to activate names until the No-­‐Activation Period ends.

  • Transitional Period At the end of the transitional period as defined in Article 10(2) of the Directive, the contracting parties shall cease to apply the withholding/retention tax and revenue sharing provided for in this Agreement and shall apply in respect of the other contracting party the automatic exchange of information provisions in the same manner as is provided for in Chapter II of the Directive. If during the transitional period either of the contracting parties elects to apply the automatic exchange of information provisions in the same manner as is provided for in Chapter II of the Directive it shall no longer apply the withholding/retention tax and the revenue sharing provided for in Article 9 of this Agreement.

  • Rental Period (a) Renter has the right to use the rental vehicle (“Vehicle”) until the return date indicated on the Rental Agreement Summary ("Rental Period").

  • INTERIM MAINTENANCE PERIOD During the interim maintenance period between obtaining of the completion certificate of Project and formation and operationalization of the Association the Promoter shall through itself or through a facility management company constitute a committee to run, operate, manage and maintain the Common Areas.

  • Unbroken Vacation Period An Employee shall receive an unbroken period of vacation unless mutually agreed upon between the Employee and the Employer.

  • Trial Period (a) In order for an adequate assessment of the employee’s capacity to be made, an employer may employ a person under the provisions of this clause for a trial period not exceeding 12 weeks, except that in some cases additional work adjustment time (not exceeding 4 weeks) may be needed.
