Unpaid Meal Break. Shifts in excess of five (5) hours per day shall include, in addition to the above, a duty-free, unpaid meal break of not less than thirty (30) minutes, to be as near the middle of the shift as possible. Employees required to work through their regular meal breaks will be given time to eat at a time agreed upon by the employee and the supervisor. In the event the District requires an employee to forego a meal break and the employee works the entire shift, including the meal break, the employee shall be compensated for the foregone meal break at the appropriate rates.
Unpaid Meal Break. All Employees are entitled to an unpaid meal break of thirty (30) minutes if they work more than five (5) consecutive hours in a shift.
Unpaid Meal Break. 6.3.1 No team member shall work for more than five hours continuously without an unpaid meal break.
6.3.2 Meal breaks shall be between 45 to 60 minutes duration. Meal breaks may be reduced to 30 minutes with the agreement of the team member.
6.3.3 Unless mutually agreed no meal break shall be given or taken within one hour of the team member’s commencing or ceasing time.
6.3.4 Notwithstanding the meal break entitlement provided for in sub-clauses 6.3.1 and 6.3.2, the following provision may apply on a voluntary basis to a team member working a shift of no more than 6 hours;
(a) A team member may request, and with the consent of Target, to work up to 6 ordinary hours and forego the meal break until the shift is concluded. Such agreement is to be recorded in writing.
(b) A team member may revoke their request to work up to 6 hours without a meal break. To accommodate roster changes, unless by prior agreement, the team member must provide a minimum of two weeks notice to revoke this request. Where the request is revoked, clauses 6.
3.1 and 6.3.2 shall apply.
(c) In cases where such an arrangement is entered in to, the team member shall take their rest period at least 2 hours prior to concluding work. This provision will not be used by Target to disadvantage team members who wish to work up to 6 hours with a meal break.
Unpaid Meal Break. An Employee may be required to work for up to five (5) continuous hours on any one portion of duty before being eligible for an unpaid meal break. The time allowed for the unpaid meal break will be agreed between the manager and the Employee, provided that no meal break will be less than thirty minutes nor longer than sixty (60) minutes.
Unpaid Meal Break. Employees scheduled for a shift of greater than five (5) hours shall receive a one-half hour unpaid lunch break during that shift. The parties understand that this is the employee’s time off work.
Unpaid Meal Break. An unpaid meal break of at least 30 minutes shall be taken after no more than 5 hours has been worked.

19.1.1 No team member shall work for more than five hours continuously without an unpaid meal break. The meal break shall be between 45 and 60 minutes. Meal breaks may be reduced to 30 minutes with the agreement of the team member. If a team member works more than ten hours the team member is entitled to a second unpaid meal break of 30 minutes.
Unpaid Meal Break. All employees working shifts of five (5) to eight (8) hours are entitled to an unpaid one-half (1/2) hour meal break between the third (3rd) and fifth (5th) hours of work. Such meal breaks shall not be less than one half (1/2) hour.
Unpaid Meal Break. (a) The unpaid meal break shall not be less than one-half (½) hour, nor more than one (1) hour.
(b) The meal break shall be scheduled between the 2nd and 5th hour of work.
(c) A unit member may not “work through” his/her meal break and shorten the work day.
Unpaid Meal Break. (a) A School Assistant, who is engaged or rostered to work for more than five hours on a day, is entitled to an unpaid meal break of not less than 30 minutes.
(b) Such meal break will start no later than five hours after the School Assistant commenced work on that day, unless otherwise agreed in writing between the School Assistant and the Employer.
