Familial Relationship Definitions. For the purpose of this policy, “immediate” family members are: • Husband/Wife/Domestic Partner (as recognized by applicable law or by the Company) • Child (defined as natural or adopted children, step-children or in-laws) • Parent (defined as natural or adoptive parents, step-parents or in-laws) • Brother or Sister (defined as natural or adoptive siblings, step-siblings or in-laws) • Grandparent (defined as natural or adoptive grandparents, step- grandparents, or in-laws) • Grandchildren and any other relatives living with the employee.

  • RELATIONSHIP OF THE PARTIES/INDEPENDENT CONTRACTOR 27.1 Each Party is an independent contractor, and has and hereby retains the right to exercise full control of and supervision over its own performance of its obligations under this Agreement and retains full control over the employment, direction, compensation and discharge of its employees assisting in the performance of such obligations.
