Military Leave Military leave whenever possible, will be scheduled during non-contractual days and will be granted in accordance with law. Employees called to active duty will be provided all rights in accordance with all applicable laws.
Military Leave Military leave required in order for an employee to maintain status in a military reserve or the United States National Guard or when called to active duty shall be granted in accordance with State and Federal laws. An employee must submit a copy of such order with a written request for military leave and which type of leave to be utilized, to their department/division manager/supervisor for submission to Personnel with the appropriate leave request. The methods in which military leave may be taken are as follows:
Military Leave Military leave. An employee in military training in the Reserve Forces of the United States or in the National Guard shall be granted a paid leave for the usually prescribed period of not more than fifteen (15) calendar days per year. During this leave, the University will pay the difference between the employee’s regular salary and the military pay received. To be paid, the employee must furnish written evidence to the Payroll Department of the amount paid by the Government for this service. An employee in the Reserve Forces, Military or National Guard called to active duty will be returned to a comparable position with the University upon culmination of the Military Leave.

  • Military Leave An employee will be granted unpaid Military Leave in accordance with the Employment Standards Act. The employee will give as much notice as is reasonably possible and will provide a copy of the Military Notice when received.

  • Extended Military Leave 1. Extended military leave shall be granted to an employee who enlists or is ordered into active duty in the United States Armed Forces or a reserve component or who is ordered into active Federal military duty as a member of the National Guard or Naval Militia. Such leave shall be granted for active-duty service of any length or for active-duty training in excess of 180 days.

  • Short-Term Military Leave A unit member shall be granted leave with pay for the purpose of undergoing ordered pre-induction physical examinations for the armed services, and for the purpose of engaging in ordered, temporary training not to exceed thirty (30) workdays per calendar year.
