Common use of Family Crisis Clause in Contracts

Family Crisis. (1) Subject to operational needs, and upon reasonable notice to the employee’s immediate supervisor, employees shall be eligible to use accumulated leave credits for the purpose of dealing with family crisis situations (e.g. marriage counseling, family or parenting conflict management, family care urgent matters an/or emergencies). If the employee has exhausted available leave credits, the employee may request unpaid leave.
