FEDERATION/DISTRICT CONSULTATION. The parties agree that communication involving employer-employee relations, may be facilitated by consultation meetings. FEDERATION/DISTRICT CONSULTATION. The parties agree that communication involving employer-employee relations may be facilitated by consultation meetings. Either party may request a consultation meeting where they believe a resolution of a problem or problems may be feasible. The party requesting such a meeting shall, in writing, submit an agenda with sufficient detail to allow an understanding of the problem to be discussed or resolved and the date, place, and time requested. The receiving party shall, within five (5) work days, notify the requesting party of agreement as requested or at another date, time or place mutually agreed upon to the meeting. Meetings shall be held during Federation members' nonworking hours. Neither party shall have more than three (3) representatives at any such meeting unless mutually agreed to prior to the meeting. These meetings are not intended to bypass the Grievance Procedure and shall not constitute any invitation to renegotiate any provisions of the Agreement. Consult shall mean that the District or Federation shall seek advice, opinions, and/or information from the other party regarding items listed above. The District will give the Federation reasonable time to consider such items.
FEDERATION/DISTRICT CONSULTATION. 10 Designated representatives of the District and the Federation shall meet at least once a 11 month to review the implementation and administration of this contract and attempt to 12 resolve whatever differences and problems that might arise. 14 Representatives of the PFT shall also meet with college administrators at least once a 15 month to resolve problems that might arise at that level. 17 The Federation shall extend an invitation to the Chancellor to meet and confer with the 18 Executive Board of the PFT at least two (2) times a year on a mutually agreeable date 19 and agenda. 21 The Chancellor shall designate at least one (1) PFT faculty seat on the following 22 committees/councils: 24 1. Budget Advisory Committee (BAC); 25 2. Chancellor's Policy Advisory Committee (XXXX); 26 3. Council on Instruction, Planning and Development; 27 4. Safety Committee; 28 5. AB 1725 Joint Governance Committees; and 29 6. Facilities Usage Committee.

  • Consultation Services The company hereby employs the consultant to perform the following services in accordance with the terms and conditions set forth in this agreement: The consultant will consult with the officers and employees of the company concerning matters relating to the management and organization of the company, their financial policies, the terms and conditions of employment, and generally any matter arising out of the business affairs of the company.

  • JOINT CONSULTATION 21.01 The parties acknowledge the mutual benefits to be derived from joint consultation and are prepared to enter into discussion aimed at the development and introduction of appropriate machinery for the purpose of providing joint consultation on matters of common interest. 21.02 Within five (5) days of notification of consultation served by either party, the Alliance shall notify the Employer in writing of the representatives authorized to act on behalf of the Alliance for consultation purposes. 21.03 Upon request of either party, the parties to this Agreement shall consult meaningfully at the appropriate level about contemplated changes in conditions of employment or working conditions not governed by this Agreement. 21.04 Without prejudice to the position the Employer or the Alliance may wish to take in future about the desirability of having the subjects dealt with by the provisions of collective agreements, the subjects that may be determined as appropriate for joint consultation will be by agreement of the parties.

  • Professional Development Days Upon request, each Employee shall be granted at least three (3) professional development days annually for professional development, at the Basic Rate of Pay. An Employee shall be advised, prior to taking any professional development days of any transportation, registration fees, subsistence and other expenses that will be paid by the Employer. Such hours not used in each fiscal year shall not be carried forward into subsequent years. Applications for such paid professional development opportunities shall be made in writing, to the Employer as early as possible.

  • Consultation 10.1 The Employer agrees to consult the Employee timeously where the exercising of its powers will have amongst others- 10.1.1 A direct effect on the performance of any of the Employee’s functions; 10.1.2 Commit the Employee to implement or to give effect to a decision made by the Employer; and 10.1.3 A substantial financial effect on the Employer. 10.2 The Employer agrees to inform the Employee of the outcome of any decisions taken pursuant to the exercise of powers contemplated in clause 12.1 as soon as is practicable to enable the Employee to take any necessary action with delay.

  • Joint Consultation Committee 8.01 On the request of either party, the parties must meet at least once every four (4) months, for the purpose of discussing issues relating to the workplace that affect the parties or any employee bound by the Agreement. 8.02 The purpose of the consultation committee is to promote the cooperative resolution of workplace issues, to xxxxxx the development of work related skills and to promote workplace productivity, and to identify opportunities for improved patient care. 8.03 Up to two (2) employees who are members of the joint consultation committee shall be granted leave without loss of pay or receive straight time regular wages while attending meetings of the committee, up to a maximum of two (2) hours’ pay. 8.04 Pay for such meetings will be limited to two (2) hours and employees attending such meetings will not receive overtime wages.
